It is indeed phenomenal. Over the last month you've seen the trenchcoat go from £120 to over £320 now. I certainly don't understand what the craze is for skins, but it is cool to watch.

And considering this game is early access... the market prices are huge - god knows what will happen when it goes full release!

Welcome to trials and tribulations of a little know thing called Market Speculation.

Watched LGR's review on it, tempted moreso now, but not tempted at getting screamed at on mic by people, that's the main reason I don't like using a mic and pvp games. Those without a mic, how do you manage?

Meant as a question.

I know it gets posted a lot here, but I would really recommend the OcUK Discord. Always spaces for games, everyone is chilled. You really benefit from team comms for duo's/squad's in this game. Other option is just play solo I guess?

killed 11 people tonight in one round didnt even make it to #20 yet some camp in bush get 1 kill and win :(:D

I had a squad win two weeks back with 0 kills...I was the last person alive in the squad as well and the only one to make it to final circle.

My game improved immensely when I stopped playing for kills...I went in with the mindset of racking up kills and maybe winning for the first 100 hours or so. Then I just played to win, sometimes it meant hiding out and not engaging, going whole matches with only 1/2 kills for the win. However I have a lot more wins playing this way.

Now the temperature has dropped a little, I should be able to manage playing on my PC without melting so I'll try join up on Discord tonight. :)

I've mostly been playing without a mic, played one game with a squad with some randoms since tracking down my mic.
From my one experience playing with a mic, I'd say it does make the game more enjoyable having other people to talk to who can also call out targets.

Most of my games have been either playing solo games or playing as a one-man squad (there's a checkbox to prevent you being put in a squad with other players). The one-man squad games work pretty well as you can choose to start off in a smaller location as you don't need to split the loot between four people.

CTRL+T :D I have voice comms muted all the time on this game, as you always get one numpty screaming like a 4 year old in the plane, if i'm playing solo then I just have it muted and do not sue the voice comms, if i'm playing squads or duos then ill be in discord with people from here.

I've had a few games on discord. It's brilliant, have to say I've been welcomed and starting to recognise a few guys now! Can't say it enough but discord and this community is my main enjoyment of this game.

Duo my friend pops over for a evening with his gaming laptop.

If I'm alone, with no mates, I just solo away, all by my lonesome

voice coms for any games like this is important especially in team games.guy in window top left.no voice com shoots you in head :p

ingame turn off all the other mutants.if you in a big voice channel then mute ones who are noisey or, just go to a channel with your team who you playing with.

whats people fav guns for close up and range ? currently close up running through houses ouzi on auto or pump shotty saiga.then 416 or ump with red dot.

I always carry an extended mag for an UMP/Uzi/Vector on me, regardless of whether I have one. If I come across a Vector, it gets used 90% of the time for close range encounters. That thing spits bullets, but the standard 13 rounds restricts it. Extended mag gives it 25...whole load of hurt up close.

My first choice for close range is either the Revolver or the S686 shotgun, you can quite often one tap with those.
After those, for within 100m my second choice would be the UMP with an extended mag & compensator as you can pretty much tear down an entire squad using a single clip with that.

Had to laugh last night, heard 3 guys show up next to me, two in a car one on a bike. Biker runs into the house so I get up and blast two of them to bits. I then hear the other guy giving my location via comms so I run around the other side of the building and blow him away through a window.
My mate was in tears, funniest kills I've had so far! Cracking game. :D
