There is a h1z1 thread but you boughtht the wrong game, h1z1 is good but this game does it far better.
I know PUBG is better but as my first go at non-sim games, I couldn't warrant paying £27 in case I hated it, so far I'm enjoying KOTK and will probably buy PUBG later once I've got more experience.
Something has changed client side since the update, I've had to completely turn of the overclock on my 980ti's as with even a tiny overclock the game would just consistently crash in the lobby. or in the plane.

Got second last night, finally got past my 3rd place road block and was trading shots with the last place guy so close to that chicken dinner i could smell it. My rage shouting didnt go down well with the good lady.
Least now I've broken my 3rd place brick wall, since before early access its been there, hopefully the next step up wont take me as long.

If you want to get down fast then dive right down and not glide ! Everyone should nose dive right down to get an advantage , I've always got a gun before everyone else this way.
Nope.. the lobby sorts that out... There is a trick if your diving hard(near vertical) and you let go of the forward button as it hits the white where ther chute opens you still go 170mph for a bit
About half-way through a game last night this thing glided past me, without stopping - wtf is it - looks like a zombie...

It had no animation and seemed to move faster than a player would. My team-mate said he couldn't see it, so I guess it was a bug of some sort.

Only picked this up yesterday. We came across a player model just idle doing nothing and wouldn't die. Also seen videos of bodies going flying weirdly across the map. So just a quirk I should imagine.
Can't wait to squad up and get some proper games in.

Had some god awful games last night, just couldn't get fully kitted, always had a glut of one thing but missing others, one game I think i found about 30 red dots, but nothing longer than that, or would get reasonably kitted but with no meds at all, was doing my swede in and just meant I started playing like a noob trying to push people to get their kit and getting punished for it 
So has the month end patch been deployed yet?
I recently saw news of a patch that increased performance for this like render distance on certain objects.. not sure if that has been deployed yet but playing last night it felt super smooth..
Also wtf is up with the 1 hit flying punch rubbish?

I don't think it matters, but a fast way is to get in line with where you want to drop then point straight down. You should hit 234, let the parachute auto open and it will drop you closer to the ground.
