PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Can't see the little mucker and its just us two left in the last circle with a whole load of bushes between us. That bush looks a little red = second chicken dinner this season. Why would you wear a red shirt or anything funky? Stick to black.

Got over 100 hours now, so I stay quite calm even right up to the last few people, then suddenly when I know its 1v1... heart rate jumps up a notch!

Good point.

Most of the time I have another Discord chat open other than ocuk so I rarely see requests.
 
Does anyone else find themselves jumping in a passenger seat a lot of the time when you're in solo and want to drive or is it just because I'm a noob? :rolleyes::p
 
Yep, would be handy if it defaulted to drivers seat.

I often run up to a vehicle with the intention of getting in quickly and driving off and find myself sitting passenger wondering what happened

Haha thank god it's not just me! You can press ctrl + 1 to switch to drivers seat in the car but I always forget and end up getting killed :(

I rebound my car seat selection to F1, F2, F3 & F4. Makes getting into drivers seat swift and also allows you to swap to a passenger seat quickly for drive by's in Solo.

Ah didn't think of that, good idea! Might actually use one of the macro buttons on my K95 which I've never used haha
 
Worst nights games for a long time.....nothing went my way last night. Team mates were fine.

Including getting run over by a car, dieing in a red zone (1st time in 300 hours play!), shot in a corn field with only 7 people left. Everyone was prone, sneaking around, suddenly i thought I could hear footsteps and there is one guy just walking around the corn field brazen as you like from behind me and killed me. not even prone or nothing and no-one is shooting at him!!

Also died without firing a shot whilst running Kar98 x8, suppressor and M4, x4, suppressed..........

I played some FPP Duos yesterday on the test servers, they were quite laggy but otherwise fun to play.
Driving vehicles suddenly is even more treacherous now! Also the character camera still sits too low imo, feel about 4ft tall.

For combat it definitely feels better and less campy, you have to move around to get aware of your surroundings.
But the combination of FPP and low camera means that it can be very difficult to spot crouched people at times, nevermind prone. I found getting the high ground became even more important.
