I can manage 1 game a day in FP otherwise I feel sick as well. It's truely horrible experince in 1st person with the bobbing etc

Another rant...

I wish they would fix the start system. Is there really a need to wait 1 minute when the server slot is at capacity in 1-2 seconds? I know its just a minute but after several games I feel like my life is draining away pointlessly.

Think of it like League of Legends, they need to ensure everybody is loaded 100% before starting the game - obviously the game doesn't wait 100% before starting but this is what it's trying to achieve. Believe it or not there's still a huge amount of players taking over 30 seconds to load into that starting area.

How would you have it - without the 1 minute time? 100 Capacity doesn't mean 100 players are loaded in and ready. The numbers go up as players connect, not load.

Got this game a few days ago and been playing it quite a bit, it's really fun and challenging.

I haven't played competitive FPS for like 10 years so it's going to take some getting used too.

I've got about 10 hours clocked and won 2 games.

So do you guys have a ventrilo/teamspeak server you use, is there an OCUK team for this game or something similiar?

3rd person is definintely the way to play this. I was using mainly 1st person and getting fed up with getting killed a lot but I just had a bash at 3rd using Alt free look and RM + Q button or E button and you have a much better knowledge of the environment and can look round corners and spin 360 when you are running straight. I did well just then but the blue circle caught me.

I got it a few days ago and was getting very frustrated with it but 3rd person view has saved the game for me.

Haha you would be No.1 then?

Once they fix first person dwarvishness might be fun but still more fun third person imho. Horses for courses.

Yeah this really sucks, it'd be great to have a much quicker start, especially when dropping into high risk areas when you can be dead as seconds after hitting the ground.

Yeh i want that fix also, i did get a 3rd in my first game, but been playing BR on arma 3 for years, i just like first person more, more realistic also.

Erm, you realise that there can only be one winner, right?

If there are 100 people playing, as long as they are all FPV or all TPV, your chances of winning do not improve. It's still 1/100.

no but the way of thinking and play styles changes massively from 3rd to 1st... u can play like a little bitch in 3rd person.. 1st is gonna take this game to another level when they fix the things they said they have and when new map becomes available..

Both modes have different skills I wouldn't say one is necessarily easier than the other.
