PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

cut the ping limit to 150 and that would be a massive cut in hackers instantly.also some cheats make the pings jump so even euro guys who cheat would get kicked.

looking forward to trying vaulting.expecting mega lols.

Played a few rounds with Jasy, Lube/Razz and Flibbles last night.

Highlights definitely include Flibbles superman punch vs AR :p

Note: Quite amusing that the OcUK forums, being the largest forum of a computer hardware shop, who have partnered with AMD/ATi on numerous occassions.... Don't allow you to embed video from AMD's partnered streaming site :D

Just had a bash on the test server, vaulting works very well indeed. From about 1.19 you will also see that they have changed the map north of the mansion so instead of being open we now have hills and a pond.

its very smooooooth on the test server.fps seems a little better not sure if graphics been tweaked a little better or worse.vaulting is good very smooth.will definitely change how games are played in many ways.also noise ! so much change in loudness vehicles and such.

Jesus Prattler, is that your normal frame rate?!

(It's Merlin btw)

Psychic Hull :p Wonder if the cheaters have already earned back the cost of their game licence / cheats from crate sales..... Never known a game to have such prevalent cheating. If they removed the crates, people wouldn't have a need to grind...

I just can't believe cheating is so prevalent. Its the last thing on my mind when I want to play a game. Unless for the reasons outlined above, I just don't understand it, other than simple mischief making and getting your kicks from that. But, really?

That's the kind of sad people that co-exist in this world with us unfortunately. Like those who TK when auto matching, just used to go AFK for the BP, or those woeful people who always drop on Power.

Pretty much agree with region locking, or at least maybe ~150 ping limit or something. Have no idea how people enjoy playing on servers where their ping is like 300, same goes for people here playing on AS servers.

If you have a decent connection ping isn't that bad. On destiny which is P2P I was playing with people in USA, New Zealand and Europe in the same game without any issues. So long as you all have a decent connection.

It's when you have people with crap internet connected that things start going funny as de-sync, etc kicks in. People rubber banding and teleporting, running into walls, etc.

Also depends on how well the net code has been implemented but on PC with dedicated servers ping isn't a huge issue. I mean I hit 50 ping on a european server and 120ish on ones on the other side of the world.

The math doesn't add up to make it worthwhile. You can make ~£2.80 a week via crates cost of game is what £22 on key sites? Cost of cheat anywhere between £20-40 pcm(assuming they're not smart enough to make their own).

Assuming lowest cost of a free cheat then it's still just shy 8 weeks to pay off the game.

Steam regional pricing my friend, it isnt £22 in china but the items still sell for the £2.80.

Battleye tweeted last night that they have banned almost 100,000 players the past weekend since the new updates were applied, bringing the total banned list to 700,000.
Are they banned forever with no way around it so they have to make a new Steam account? That's like £14 million worth of games, almost seems like cheating is profitable for the company :p.

Yeah basically it's in blueholes best interest to keep banning them as they buy new accounts.

Heck I'm just surprised no company had been caught selling cheats that they ban after a while. Mostly thought it would be EA.

I'm really liking the new wooded area north of the mansion, the "densest" forest we've had in the game yet.
