He is right about the fact you get worse at gaming with age. From roughly 25 onwards reaction times just start slowing down to the point yes an extra 50-100ms basically puts you down a tier or two. However gameskill is still key it's why ex pro players when they retire at 24-27 still do well enough against the public to become successful streamers. Their gameskill carries them through their decline.

Woohoo. Did it a few times, highest age it put me was 25, lowest was 21. Had one where it didn't even give me an age, just asked if I was superhuman! (Think it was 260ms reaction time)

This is a lie, it assumed i wasnt a human the 5 times i tried it and i have the reactions of a sloth even at 21

mine is around 220 average lowest was 205 iirc on the second game @ 32.

reactions definitely slow with age and they are definitely a factor in twitch shooters. however it's a multitude of factors and reactions is only 1 of them like i said gameskill is ultimately the top factor. making the right decisions and plays instantly rather than thinking about them.
 
age definitley plays a part my younger son i have no chance against in cs or any fast fps game. what helps a older player who is decent is game sense.sometimes you will beat younger players on that alone.depends on the fps game really.

had a good night last night first 3 games back to back chicken dinners.:D
 
Says I am in the top 97th percentile. I guess not bad for a 38 year old with one foot in the grave!
