I just accidentally this game yesterday, and now I can't stop playing

Question; is it meant to run like crap? i5-6400T, 16GB DDR4, GTX960 4GB, getting ~30fps on Med/Low.

Also if anyone happens to be playing on US time, add me on Steam as it'd be cool to have some buddies for team play!

Good stuff. I was on for a bit last night but not much activity on discord.

But on another note what a difference a new pc makes. It's like playing a totally different game. No stuttering and I actually get FPS above 30

I still suck but I'll be on tonight if your about.

Performance increases have been amazing on the latest patch. Been able to turn everything up to ultra barring shadows now and still get around 70-90 fps with a 1070.

Looking forward to seeign this with my 1070Ti when my new monitor turns up - is that at 1080p or 1440p?

Also, what's the discord Channel to get some buddies? My Chinese isn't good enough to ensure squad survival (even on EU servers!!!)

cpu makes a massive difference in frame rate. so does ram and ssd.people often forget other factors.who plays ultra anyway ?

GFX card / CPU limiting the game.

i5 6600K and GTX 970 are the bare minimum imo..

It's the CPU that's limiting him the most, not the GPU.

I'm using an I5-760 with AMD 7870 and I get about 30 FPS+ at 2160x1152. If he had a better CPU with that GPU, he should get a lot better FPS then I would.

my lads plays with a 860k at 4.3ghz and a gtx 970 @ 1500mhz. He plays 1080p with everything on low apart from view distance which is on high and he gets a steady 60fps on the test server.

agree with that, my i5 3470 and 970 seriously struggle with PUBG

My i5 2500k and 1070 cope fine... play a mix of med/high - 1080p 60-80+ fps

PUBG is now very well optimised, long gone are the days people can say this is unoptimised. First time I have fully monitored the game for a while now and 17 mins of gameplay here GPU was 9/10 pegged at 99%
