PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Full on rage quit last night, fire shotgun from close range and then the game lagged before I should get the second shot off, next thing I know Ive been sprayed down.

Things have gone down hill since I got my new monitor :S.
 
2.4gb download - seemed fine this morning to me after patch.

finished 3rd in solo just now - total campfest as it ended up with a zone covering 2, 4 story buildings so only 3 left and everyone just sat and didn't move.

same buddy 28+ hours.

Solo - 2nd - so close was on edge for Last 10 minutes haha

Duo - 2nd / 3rd handful of times

Squad - 1st - With random too, haha.

its had 2 patches today, the first one apparently gave loads of people memory issues so the second patch has apparently rolled back to the previous version we were on before while they fix it.

It says so on their twitter, I wasn't trying to be a **** about it, glad with what theyre doing.

Predictability? If anything i've never managed to successfully predict where it's going to shrink to the point where I swear the game is actively screwing me over with every successive shrink :D
 
So, I still havnt bought it. But I have finally got round to having a game at my friends house. I can 4th, with 2 kills, I just hid in a bush for 15/20 minutes had a chat with my mate cracked open a few beers a guy ran past me and I opened fire, the minute I left the bush I got into a fire fight and won. It's a game that requires little to no skill but is bizarrely fun, I played the Arma3 mod and won that a couple of times, it's all luck related

10/10 will hide in a bush and drink beer again

I agree to a point, but as players get smarter..hiding/camping wont be so easy. Plus it's not much fun to do. I prefer to sneak about and hunt them down.
 
This is the question isn't it, try and predict where the final circle will be and camp there or run with the edges and get kills. I like running the edges, I dont get many top 3s though lol.

However had the circle pushed you out of your bush, your game would have been quite different.
 
Gone back to my 22" monitor and finding performance better. I guess my machine was strugggling with the higher res.

Get your old monitors out boys if you want better fps :p
