So you make sure your settings are low enough to not hit the 3.5Gb of ram the 970 has? Thats the 1st thing that pops into my head anyway. If you are on 8Gb system ram and suddenly the gpu needs to grab some... if there isnt any spare you are gonna get big slow downs.

I've mentioned many times that I'm on a 2500k 8Gb system ram r290 4Gb version, but vikendi runs all peachy like for me. Have you genuinely tried a bunch of stuff to sort it out?

16 Gb system ram + SSD. No I haven't tried a bunch of stuff to fix it. I checked reddit and saw multiple posts about the stuttering being caused by fullscreen window instead of fullscreen. Tried the recommended fixes but still same ****. None of my friends are playing anymore. Everyone is moving onto other games. Sound has always been broken since day 1 also. Impossible to tell above/below etc. It had a good run though.
 
sound is fine if set up right as above say. the problem is finding what your issue is. could be win 10 could be how you have the game set up. if you watch recent videos you can see how far you can hear from. its fine.
 
Wish they just removed lvl3 helmets from world spawn completely. Making them rarer actually is worse than everyone having them.

I’m still on the fence about level 3 helmets to be honest.

On one hand I got so sick of being insta downed on Sanhok by a god tier sniper, and not being very good at the game I rarely got to a drop meaning I was next to defenceless against it.

On the other everyone having level 3 helmets almost makes the M24 & Kar98k pointless as your better off with a DMT so you can just bang two headshots into someone with a level 3 and they’re done.

I don’t know what would make this balance better? Maybe making the level 3 helmet AND bolt action snipers super rare? But having no defence against the bolt actions which are obviously significantly more popular than the level 3 helmet doesn’t make sense to me
 
Making lvl3 helmets world spawn just makes the game even more RNG, get in a sniper duel - GG. Plus it completes devalues going for a drop, some might argue drops are RNG but more than likely you will have to fight for it.

The defence against bolt actions is very straight forward, just make sure your head is never stationary. If they headshot you whilst moving they've earned it.
 
I can't get enough of this map! It's just so much fun :D.
  • Vertical grips are a little too common
  • Lv3 helmets should stay in drops
  • Extended mags for ARs could do with been a touch more frequent
  • Loving the G36C
  • 5.56mm ammo can be quite hard to come by at times
  • I have lost count of how many times I have found all the DMR accessories and then not find a DMR :p
 
5.56 ammo is literally in most of the barn type buildings everywhere :D

i think sometimes people are playing a different game. check out all the maps in detail. certain areas are better for loot not just big towns.
 
I dont mind the L3 helmets, just go for the headshot anyway, half the time they are not on full health and go down anyway.

DMR and SR attachments are common yes, so don't bother picking them up, its a loot trap filling your bags up... if you find an SR or DMR then keep an eye out for the common attachments. Okay, maybe keep the suppressor just in case :P

As DG says there is 5.56 often in the barns.

Just nabbed a chicken on solo vikendi L3 everything, M24 + x8 (no attachments found it late) G36c (No attachments)bag full of grenades and molatovs instead :p Last guy had L3 everything but the blue forced him my way... good job because I used all the grenades and mollys on the guy before him... Shweeeeeet!
 
There are times when I find a butt load of it but, so far, this is a minority.

I am always finding a 5.56 gun with 30 bullets and going ages until I find some more. Will stick to barns from now on :)

Forgotten their names already but we stay away from a couple of the bigger towns as loot there seems average at best.

Nice one about your chicken dinner :D, I love it when they have to come to you.
 
the barns are generally pretty decent for loot. so just find areas with loads of them close by. you will be sorted almost instantly. miramar is easiest but still many dont realize all the best loot is top north. looks barren but they did say this many months ago but looks barren. sanhok yet again mongnai. got as much loot at Khao yet its on pallets. so you can collect it far quicker. mostly a sniper and 3 vest there. also many dont drop there as they think its garbage but have no idea. it actually makes me laugh about mongnai as on reddit there was a map and it told you where to drop 1000s replied and mongnai got why drop here at all. which is actually brilliant cause it shows how clueless most are. i guess the secrets out now though. :p

It'll get nerfed, just like all the new weapons that get introduced got nerfed....QBZ...SLR (granted the SLR is still awesome!). They just probably bump the damage up to get people playing them on first release then dial them back once the hype has died down.

they will do as they just did. monitor it. see how feedback is and tweak it in few weeks or a month. once they know if its op or not. cant see how it cant be op tbh. its basically a 50 round vector.
