PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

I imagine this was done on purpose as if they went much darker it will become prone to settings abuse, such as increasing gamma to get an advantage.

I wish the night mode was the default though on Vikendi, much better contrast and more comfortable on the eyes to play.
 
its pretty simple to get in a dark game to test it. just go in lobby see if its dark . leave if it isnt . do this a few times should get one. takes about 5 minutes. they doing it so the darkness is like a random weather event. like fog or rain. so you dont split the playerbase. which is understandable.

you dont make it too dark as shimmy says. camping can be bad anyway. so imagine total darkness lol. also even if it was totally dark then people would moan its too dark what are these clowns who make this game thinking ! they have no idea why dont they fix their broken game. usual rant from people who have no idea. :p

roe is more open not like the maps on pubg. also easier.
 
I don't mean pitch black, just a little darker than it is right now 'cause it's not all that dark.

Dropping out of lobbies isn't fun imo so constantly doing that just to get a certain thing is a bit crap, plus the weather can happen / change on any map at any time pretty much whereas night mode makes it a second version of the map aka turns it into a 5th map in the game. I'd expected it to be more like 75:25 (or at least 50:50) in favour of night appearing for the test server given it's about testing, but it seemed to be much more the other way. Once on live they could then change it to a lower chance of coming into rotation obviously.
 
by then you maybe sick of it. its done the way it is for a reason. they trying to test it realistically as it will go on live. by putting it on more often you will constantly play it then maybe bored of it by live build. i think the live build maybe even today or couple of days. nothing really game breaking in it so cant see the patch being long till live introduction.
 
I believe the Bizon, is just a standard SMG, nothing OP about it, SMG hits still take wayy too long for TTK, it's fine 1v1... but if you want to survive any 1v4 fights, the Bizon is not the gun for you.
The M4 is still a little better than the G33, for its quicker fire rate and less recoil (with both guns having full attachments).

Looking forward to checking out this secret area later tonight!!!

I guess you play solo and for maximum killzzzzzzzzzzz?

Some people play the game for fun, lobby hopping is not fun and certainly isn't conducive to interesting content for streaming. I also explained why the lack of rotation on the map is strange, but hey, ignore that. :rolleyes:
 
it was solely suggested as the quickest way to see the darkness. playing and hoping for darkness vs time played makes no sense.

the bison has less recoil than a m4. on full auto

don't worry about it. there's a little gathering on here now that don't like anyone criticising the game - you'll see snidey little remarks like 'the folk who complain a lot about pubg...usually they don't actually play a lot'......'usual rantings from people who have no idea what they are talking about'
strangely enough usually from people who themselves haven't played a huge amount or have been demonstrably shown on numerous occasions to not have a ******* clue what they are talking about. but they gotta try hard and stay relevant so posting dung (even when everyone else is laughing at them) is all they have.

M4 and G36C have identical fire rates and DPS. Recoil is a bit subjective but I prefer M4 close and G36C long.
 
bizon is a monster. 53 rounds is a squad wiper. the ump if you have aim is brilliant normally my main but the bizon is even better.

the m4 while great can kick up oddly not like its recoil pattern suggests. g36 is brilliant close up like a up just little more recoil not too hard to control. over distance is can be okay i take the m4 though if not sniper.

many of us like you know mainly just play pubg. we do well. we do understand it. its not nonsence we posting. we have the results to back it up.

quite a few on here do moan about pubgs broken. it isnt odd bug in it nothing game breaking but its popular so those bugs always get blown out of proportion mainly by people who either dont play it much or regular or most often those who are just bad at the game. thats the truth.

you only have to see how the sound is broken posts to see most of those have no idea that ingame its pretty easy to set it up so you can here people from 200m nevermind on top of you. it has been explained numerous times yet people with no knowledge or inclination to try and sort it just blame the game.

i dont mind any honest opinion..... on anything ass long as you post valid arguements or decend debate,

Has this been changed?
I swear the g36c had slower fire rate when it first came out. I've just checked some stats on it and you're right :) Perhaps it just sounded slower and I assumed the firerate was worse.

My shots with g36c in long range - appear to disappear more times than the m4 for some reason. If the stats are basically the same though, it begs the question why they added it in the first place?

Edit, looks like it has much slower reload time.
M4 = 2.1s
g36c = 3.8s

It has in some ways but the ones he listed are still major problems. Totally laggy initial drop loot spawning, random RNG hit reg and de-sync still a constant problem, game still has stutter issues even on the highest end hardware.. etc.

there's nowt wrong with me - i still love the game. it's this bs that appears every time someone questions the game - the person questioning it either doesn't play enough or doesn't know what they are talking about. those are the stock 2 replies i see. and they are usually wrong.

what i will say is that my time away from pubg has given me is perspective. the game while insanely fun is poorly put together with multiple bugs that while not game breaking should have been ironed out long ago if the dev team were crunching numbers and listening to the players. the only input they take seriously is from the headline streamers - if shfraud or dr dickrespect for example asked them to put 1 legged jimmy savilles into the game they would. and that is demonstrably true. for months (if not longer) people on their forums and various other places were crying out for a vault ability. it was repeatedly ignored - in fact i even remember reading a response detailing why it wasn't possible.....then the streamers start crying that they want to be able to vault and boom it's patched in.

anyway's i'll repeat that i love the game and don't see me giving up playing it any time soon. but lets not kid ourselves it's junk, utter junk. but it's addictive like crack cocaine. and we are the junkies. i just don't like seeing people with genuine peeves about the game being derided as either clueless or 'haven't played it enough' to be allowed an opinion - that's me done white knighting the nubs btw!! :p
