that's the thing with pubg, for all it's problems and bugs there's no other game can produce the same level of excitement and silliness, often in equal measure, that it does.

Nothing like getting knocked while cooking a nade near your team mate! Then the nade takes out both of you

Hi all, im wondering if anyone can help please.

im having a problem where the game crashed to DT sometimes there is a pubg report to send, sometimes not.

it can happen when loading onto the plane, after 5 mins, 20 mins, or not at all. most of the time only 1 crash per game, but it does happen 2-3 times every now and again.

windows, gpu drivers are all up to date, and using device doctor pro, the others are fine also

I play the game n ultra, with smooth frame rate on, so it sits at 60 fps.

cpu/gpu dont go over 60 deg c

the game is on my ssd.

my pc spec is in my signature at the bottom.

what could you recommend please

Have you done any tweaking of your GPU? Overclocking? Undervolting? The only time I’ve had this is when I’ve been tinkering with my GPU.

gpu is running standard clocks.

the cpu is overclocked from the OC genie on the mb

could the power supply cause this sort of thing? i would guess that it is around 7/8 years old at a guess

This game crashes for everyone of my friends that play this game occasionally but if yours is near on every game I would be looking at hardware.

What is your RAM speed? I'd be looking at stress testing the CPU or RAM to try and narrow it down

try stock clocks and see if crashes. also try older gpu driver. also try verifying steam files for pubg. you may have to redo your cfg though if you do this. key settings and so on

under PerfCap Reason it is blue and it says Limited by reliability voltage

i have tried the steam file, and it didnt make any difference to the crashing.

I just played 3 games now, and it didnt crash once. the only problem was venkdi was jittery and the fps was dropping down to 50 or so every now and then

i think the ram speed is 1600. I dont think i mo can take faster.

I have run haven, kombi (afterburner one) and didnt have any problems. but that was them running for around 10 mins, not sure if this is long enough?

Both them tests are very GPU heavy. You'll want to run something like prime95 blend test that will heavily stress CPU and RAM and normally show up any instability. You'll want an older copy of prime95 that is non avx and keep an eye on CPU temps as they will be a good bit higher than gaming. It will also need to run for a few hours

on drop in vikendi regardless of pc spec will drop low.

did you have a link to the correct one to download please?

if the game crashes after 5 mins, why would you need to run these tests for hours please?

just return pc to stock play. see if crashes. if it doesnt its overclock most likely or gpu driver.
you validated files so wont be game. do you have any overlay ?

forget the stupid benchmark progs. just make pc default work from there. my guessing more cpu voltage or...bad gpu driver. use older one. like 388.13 do fresh installation. custom and only the driver and the physix ticked.

the overclock is set on my motherboard, it is OC genie, and all i do is press the button. it has been running like that for the last 5+ years, ill unpress it and see how it plays.

I know myself and a few others have recently started to suffer from crashes/locks when leaving a game to go back to the main menu - it gets stuck on a splash screen and the only way to get out of it is to go to Task Manager. Doesn't happen every time but has happened a fair bit more these last few days.

Had the weirdest game last night. In the plane the lag was so bad (900+) that no-one could get out until the end of the flight path. Then this guy, https://pubg.op.gg/user/BatulinS-, proceeds to mow down 20 or so people with a car.

I managed to get away (and win in the end) but was a strange one. Looks like he had a few like that yesterday including a 58 kill game!
