yup, didn't even seem to be bothered by the blue! guess though given it was a charity event they maybe 'tweaked' the blue for the event. I know when i'm in the blue, especially towards the end of the game my health is just dropping like mad.
 
Three games lost due to lag tonight, absolute ****.

Last game we played a guy ran straight into our room and we were expecting him. Kwango was on full auto and his gun fired 2 shots then stopped. I fired my shotgun directly at the door this guy was stood in, got the pumping action but the gun didnt actually fire a shot, managed to get another one off but this guy was hopping all around the room.

He then ran off outside and I went after him, he was directly infront of me then appeared behind me and I was dead.

Its almost unplayable for me during peak hours :( can't wait till it get patched.
 
Yup the lag in the first part of a game is ridiculous during peak hours, makes close quarters a random game of which shot registers. As the game has gotten more popular it only seems to get worse. Hopefully the ping limiter will do something but they really need to sort out the desync. Theyre all on hols this week, so hopefully next week we'll start seeing some improvements.

Yeah its been more and more noticeable as the game has picked up more players, but I'm now suffering even halfway through the game not even at the start.
 
Bought this yesterday and in 3 games picked up 4 kills and one t10 finish :)

Still can't get the balance right of when to stick where I am and when to move though - always get shot in the back moving or in the face going into a building :(

Must admit I'm enjoying Prey, but it is a game with a finite lifespan. Once I finish it , its likely to sit on the shelf, whereas PUBG (as with most online games) I'll keep coming back to.
 
finding the servers really laggy these past few days

also, what dpi mouse setting do you folks play on? i'm using an mx518 and have been using 1600dpi, trying it on 800dpi now instead to see if it improves my aim at all...

I have 8GB and never had a memory low problem.

Friend has 8GB and has no issues.

8GB is plenty enough, unless you like to have **** loads of programs running...
