PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Seeing as kwango hates my flowery shirt in-game I had to find the same one IRL, quite snazzy I think. Closest I could get, would have liked an exact copy but hey ho

Same, though tbh I hadn't noticed the dwarfism until reading people here complaining about it. either it's not really an issue or I'm half blind :)

It's not an issue player height is perfectly fine bet half people on here that play fpp don't even change fov

You might wanna re read my post......

Maybe you'd be happier if I'd quoted just "if you want target practice drop hot"?

The problem with practising this game is how long it takes. I think I've just passed around 115 hours and only recently am I getting some confidence in the game. Occasionally now I'm top killer or damage in a winning squad (not that it means a lot, I know, but it makes me feel like I'm contributing :) ) There's just such a pace that 100 hours in this game could be only a few hours of action compared to most FPS games.

I agree dropping hot is a good plan to get used to shooting people etc, but even then, it's only practise at CQC really, which is kind of a small part of the game.

I'd be happier if you didn't quote me at all, especially if you're going to twist what I said then be all arsey about it.

Good for you if you needed spawn island to work out how a gun works. I could have saved you the hassle. Press F to pick it up. Press R to reload. Press left button to fire. Right mouse is for ads/scoping. All the guns work the same.

What I said about hot dropping was it was the best way to get target practice. Nothing improves your aim like having to shoot at someone for real. I didn't say hot dropping was the best way to figure out a guns characteristics. What I will say though is that you will not have learnt much about any guns characteristics (bullet drop etc) from the ~40 secs you might get, if (and that's a big) you are lucky enough to pick up the gun you want on spawn island.

Edit: nice edit.

Who's getting arsey?

Yes it's just 40 seconds, but that 40 seconds of trying a gun and seeing how it works was still very handy to me when I was new.

Who's getting arsey
You, obviously, or I wouldn't have said so?! You're little 'maybe you'd be happier if I'd just quoted......' was quite clear in its meaning until you added the extra edit to make it look like a more reasoned reply. Anyway I'm going no further into it. If you needed those few seconds and learnt anything at all about the guns mechanics then fair play. You must have been in the minority though as most folk picked up a gun and ran round spraying like knobbers.

Yeah, that's why I added the edit... as I wasn't trying to be arsey, I was trying to show what I was disagreeing with as I realised I'd done what I don't like others doing, quoting a whole post but then referring to just part of it. You then got all arsey while I was editing :p

Shut up. I'm not arsey. You're arsey. So there. Lol. Seriously though. Spawn island with guns was just pain in the hoop for almost everyone. For me you learn more from actually getting balls deep into the game!

Wish they would reduce waiting time to 30 secs. A system that takes longer than this isn't fit for pubg anyway.
I'm inclined to agree, it is annoying standing about doing nothing, especially if you die quick. Though it is handy in team games when you need a quick toilet run!
