Although I am wanting to get a 4K HDR TV in preparation for this, only problem is that it needs to connect to my PC and have low input lag, something manufacturers never tell you up front.

It's pretty easy to find out.
Samsung LED's have the lowest input lag of around 20ms.
Note true when HDR is enabled though, think the best are the top Sony's which are around 40ms in HDR.

The samsungs are actually better in HDR mode than normal.
I suggest people do some research before spouting nonsense.
I'm talking 16yrsand more ago here, ps2 was released in 2000 I think, even ps3 is now 10 years old.
We're talking how consoles used to be able to match pcs in the past. They could for the reasons ve mentioned but not anymore. you can't even pack a high end gpu in such small box anymore. IT'S not just size but power usage and heat output as well.
