PlayStation 4 Pro in-bound

That's what I did. Cost me more but knew it would never show up. Then I read today theses amazon drivers are on less than minimum wage and work illegal hours, not surprised it never came. Amazon prime has gone so down hill since they stopped using dpd, was always going to happen.

Could be a mixup with actual PS4 stock tbh in their warehouse or whatever.

I'm on prime since it came out and I'm ordering items consistently throughout the year and it's the best service I've used. Even two days ago I've ordered Diablo 3 for the PS4 and adapters for speakers, both ordered on Wednesday evening around 7pm and were with me Thursday morning 9AM. It's always been the same without a slightest hiccup.

Maybe I'm just lucky or this could be area specific (I'm in Cambridge) but I must have ordered at least few hundred items on Prime over the last years and not had a single problem. The refund/exchange is also excellent, anytime there would be a problem with an item I just print off return label, drop it off at post office and 5 minutes later refund is on my account.

When my £300 earphones developed a fault last year, I spoke to a guy on a chat, day before Christmas day in the evening and within 2minutes he had sent me a new pair with special delivery next day guaranteed without even asking to send the old pair back.

Nacon Revolution Pro, this could hopefully be the answer, pitty it's not wireless.

Hmmm that doesn't actually look that bad.

I wonder what the quality is like though?

One of the major things I like about my elite controller is how good it feels to use (weight / balance etc).

I have been tempted by a Scuff controller but other things means I can't go spending £140 on a controller right now.

Just get a cronusmax and a usb hub! It is that simple :D

For anyone experiencing problems with Amazon I know that they are outsourcing a hell of a lot of stock to 3rd party companies at the moment (the run down warehouse next door to my work usually nearly empty has been a hive of activity the last couple of months with Amazon contract holding everything from cookers to vibrators lol) maybe why there are delays in the supply chain

Exactly, the service has gone down the pan. It's blatantly been stolen by the driver, not sure how they think they can get away with it. What makes things even worse is their customer support over the phone, which flags up on caller ID as the coming from Dublin, ha! Yeah right.

edit: What gets me is I cancelled my shopto order to go with Amazon as they are reliaible :p

Shopto have never failed me. Always get games a day early and got my console at midday yesterday from the best of the lot, DPD.

This was my experience until a couple of months ago when things started to change. I also order from amazon a few times a week if not more

HDCP 2.2 is a pain with longer cables. I read that anything over 3m is hit and miss if it will work.....

Same problem even if I force HDMI 1.4 in safe mode.

Got some more cables coming, 6m is the absolute shorted length I think I can get away with.

I'll take me a few hours to run them through the walls though, its a right faff.

I have two 5m Amazon cables both the same. One works fine on Pro but not One S. The other works fine on One S but not Pro.....

It's literally just luck tbh...

Finally

Went to Currys, and asked them to price match to Tesco. £332.49. They only had a delivery of 2 units yesterday, one was already reserved.

It's 60fps on the standard PS4 so better be on the Pro!

Its 30fps on both consoles.

ps4 1080p
ps4 pro 1440p upscaled checkerboard rendering to 2160p or supersampled down to fit a hd tv.

Always 30fps...............Well....................22-26fps for the most part on both types of console

I subscribe to the digital foundry patrion campaign for full 4k gameplay vids and analysis so I know all that stuff.
