PlayStation 4 Pro in-bound

I've been too busy this week to collect mine from game but will be getting it tomorrow.

I've seen my mates Pro though and it really is impressive, the games look fantastic whether they are Native 4K or not the upgrade is fantastic. Also happy that it has given a boost to the PSVR.

Oh Amazon... so when you said you had cancelled my order because I didn't have a Unit reserved... you wen't ahead and took £332 out my account anyway. You absolute *****

What a joke. They'll take about 5 days to refund it too. They never used to be like this. Typical company that gets too big, stops caring about customers as they dont feel they need to any more and it all goes to ****.

Hmmm, kinda glad I didn't take the plunge right now, it seems there is a lack of clarification regards games actually offering 4K and/or optimised 1080 modes with confusion of enabling these options. What's also worrying is there are reports of Pro versions having worse performance than vanilla PS4 versions - namely flagship games like The Last of Us.

Whoops!

Yep, as I went out to get one from Currys because I was told my Amazon one wouldn't get charged I am now £350 out of pocket and my Pro has cost me £700. Yay.

After all my planning I saw I'm only using 480gb on my 2 TB drive anyway...

I honestly dont see the point in upgrading the HDD in the pro. You'll barely see any difference in speed and 1TB is a huge amount to fill up in a console, particularly if its just used for game installs and DLC.

What else do you put on a console HDD that eats up loads of space?

Having to download 1.5tb worth of stuff again anyway, backed it up but seems it corrupt as it keeps saying restore failed. Haven't played it yet, tried 3-4 times, thinking it might have happened by accident but same point.

Hopefully tomorrow will get to play on it! :D

I'm not really upgrading as the 2TB is already in my PS4. I guess it just means I don't have to worry about space for a long time (if ever).

My 1200 was not much quieter than my launch model, not the big difference they said and now it's the same thing with this, only Digital Foundry mentioned the noise being about the same and a bit annoying, everyone else said the Pro is quieter, like heck.

I also have to add I'm getting a weird coil whine that's like 4 notes looping constantly, any time the game is quiet that is going to annoy me.

Can coil whine dissapear ?
