PlayStation 4 Pro in-bound

Managed to bag myself a practically brand new one used only for a few hours Christmas day on eBay, £300 with 5 games, witcher 3, the last of us, battlefield 1, bloodborne, metal gear solid not a bad purchase will be treating myself to UFC too :D
 
I still have the random black screen issue, it does not happen that often but can be annoying when im playing fifa or in the middle of a battle in mordor. I'm using the hdmi cable that came with the pro.
 
i get that too - seems random as it doesn't happen every time I use the ps4 pro...

My PS4 didn't do this!

Ive turned on 1080p so it isn't autodetecting...

Any ideas?
 
I get it with just my 1080p screen and had it on original PS4 too. Think its something to do with the handshake feature. Maybe its just re-detecting everything.

At first I thought it was games that use the dynamic resolution causing the screen to redetect but it does it with most of my games.

Never does it on my other TV that has no handshake functionality.

There's certainly options such as samsung ku6400 but I'd argue you need something like the KS7000 at least which is £800. It's more than just about being "HDR" but other aspects such as local dimming, peak brightness etc which will determine how good/effective the HDR really is.

If you're in no rush then you could probably pick up both the PS4 Pro and KS7000 cheaper next Easter :)

Hey mate thank you for taking the time to reply, yea' I literally know nothing about TVs so I appreciate what you've said. I might hold out for a bit as the only thing I'm playing really is Bloodborne and hopefully a few deals will come up :D

Quite like the new CoD (campaign), looks really good on PS4 Pro at 4K too. Quite impressed after absolutely hating the Blops 3 campaign.
 
Started a new character in the division, it's still very enjoyable and I'm not sure if it's just me, but the framrate does in fact feel smoother. Whether that's down to the PS4 pro or the new Samsung that I don't know.
