Agreed on all points! Both items were sold on ebay, perhaps I was lucky and just timed it right.

Going to pick one of these up some time next year, will give my old ps4 to my dad. Hes getting my sony bravia KDL-50W805C as im back on pc and will be getting a new monitor come February. However i will be looking for a HDR tv to put on the wall for night time movies & occasional console gaming in bed.

Next years going to be a good one!

I'm on the same boat...trying to find a good deal for the Pro but cannot find any. I might have to get it at full price at John Lewis as well, as I have just bought all these games from Hong Kong on my holiday, but with no console to play them lol

P.S. This is also why Xbox is crap in Asian region countries and most people go for PS4 and ignore the existence of Xbox, as they don't get any half-decent Japanese titles lol

Oh, you jammy *******:p You've got Ryu Ga Gotoku 6! I'm jelly now but I'll give you a tip: if you're a fan of the game, buy the Pro as it runs like crap on standard PS4.
And buy 0, it's great;p

Yup, but it just bumps the native res to 1080p (from 900p:rolleyes:) and makes the game not drop below 30fps:p Not that much sharper in upscaled 4k. Looks slightly cleaner and there's no tearing.

Still makes a world of difference compared to base ps4 as this must be the worst running exclusive on the platform and the pro makes it just about playable.

I enjoyed Yakuza 3 even though I found it hard. Am I right in thinking that 6 and 0 are coming west?

Yes:) I'm currently playing 0 in Japanese and it's great fun, probably the best story and fighting system in the series. It's set for western release around the end of January so by all means grab it:) IMO, one of the best series ever.

6 is scheduled for Q1 2018.
 
There is baseball:D Along with bowling, pool/billiards, casino, fishing, disco, RC car racing, karaoke, darts, arena fights and loads of utterly hilarious substories;p There are also two big sidequests involving property and kyabakura management for Kiryu and Majima respectively. It's a huge game, easily 100+ hours to do everything:p
 
Yeah, it's set in 1988 but the batting centre is already there;)
There isn't one in Osaka, though.

I'm not sure what year the centre was opened in real-life Kabuki-cho.
