I wouldn't be surprised if they did start selling it separately but priced it at £40 or something ridiculous.

Just finished rise of the tomb raider. Looked incredible in 4K all the way through. And a very solid 30+ frame rate. Rarely ever had any drops. Well worth the 20 or so quid I paid in the sale

I can't tell the difference between 4k and Enhanced 1080p... Still looks very good though...

It's actually rendering in full 4K res? I thought these Pro and S consoles were just a better 1080p and not actually 4K?

I know what you mean. Regardless it stil looks incredible for 300 pound console. And the fact that it has little to no drops is amazing.

Fantastic game. Although, I wish I could start a new game+ with all my strongbox weapons and skills unlocked.

I have seen conflicting information but a few sources cite a 4K checkerboard technique. I'm inclined to agree as the GPU is thought not to be powerful enough for native 4K in titles like these.

I don't think the human eye can tell the difference between true 4K, and the checkerboard technique.

Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Nah, doubt you can, I think the experts say the image is a bit softer but looks he same to me. Just wanted us to be clear on the actual tech being used (which I believe is checkerboarding).

Im pretty sure it native 4K (UHD) 30fps in Tomb Raider. I remember reading about it somewhere...

Tbh I cannot see much difference between upscaled 1080p and 4k from 5-6 feet away so I'm more interested in extra detail.
