Retroarch although in Beta works pretty well so far.
The stuff I saw didn't appear to run that great hardly any games are supported with lots of people warning off this device.

Don't listen to the internet. People are just jumping on the bandwagon of hating something most people haven't tried .The stuff I saw didn't appear to run that great hardly any games are supported with lots of people warning off this device.
it's kind of embarrassing how he's holding out for 90 quid each despite everyone and their dog knowing they can easily be had for almost half that![]()
It's required as currently not able to use internal memoryI'll keep an eye out for a deal. If I see one for £30-40 again I'll probably buy it. For that price it'll make a decent Retroarch machine I think.
I noticed the people running Retroarch seemed to be using a USB stick in one of the ports. Is this required or are they just using it as additional storage for games?

It is actually good fun and Retroarch is still beta so it's not perfect yet .
Running ps games through it gives better performance, even though it's the same emulator .
I wouldn't call it amzing out of the box. However I also wouldn't say its rubbish at all.Isn't the point that out of the box its rubbish? Software modding is something that 99% of people are not willing or capable of doing.

Its also not exactly hard to stick a bit of software on a USB stick, plug it in and you are sorted.
Using the Retroarch software you can use dual shock 3 and 4 connect via USB.Can you use other controllers with nodded FW?
It's amazing how many of these are listed on eBay for waaaaaaaay over RRP. Surely they can't be selling at these prices?
I'm using it on a 46" Samsung 1080p panel at it does look pretty bad to be honest. But maybe if they had enabled some of the additional emulator features then the games would look better but as its from the start of the 3D gaming era then they were bound to look poor on large TVs now.Is the classic a limited run or is it ongoing? Sort of half tempted, but not sure. Any feedback on image quality on a 65 inch UHD panel?
The system is running an open sourced emulator readily available elsewhere for other hardware. No emulator talk
