Looks interesting, but reckon I'll wait and see what other games get bundled and whether the emulation / controllers are up to snuff.

Intelligent Qube is a nice addition I didn't expect.
Surprised there's no Silent Hill (seeing as resi evil and GTA now means the system will have an age rating) and Wipeout though.

Why include Toshinden though? other than the fact it was an early game that made people say "wow look what the PlayStation can do" it was poor.

I've decided to cancel my pre-order as I'd much prefer a 'PS2 classic', so going to grab a PS2 Slim with a bunch of PS1/2 games as you can get that for as little as £30. I really want to play GT3 and Wipeout :)

Arguably the best solution with the playstation, full ps1 and ps2 compatibility and it doesn't take up much space! hopefully the slims didn't end up like my pile of 5 fat ps2's (one for every type of game disc you needed to play) and can play everything in the back catalogue

It's a shame. I can't help but feel that recently released HD remix's/remasters and licencing issues have kind of ruined what should have made for an epic classic mini console. With that game selection it's a pale imitation of what we got with the SNES and NES minis when it could have been even better.

The lack of analogue/rumble controllers also make it largely pointless for emulation even if it does get cracked in future and you can add additional games:(

Even if it did get cracked.. The SNES games are a couple of MB each, PS1 images are massive..

For me I could pick up most of those games for much less than the asking price of the console and play them on my ps3 which already has HDMI.

In fact I already have nearly half of those games :)

No G-Police.
No Wipeout/Wipeout 2097
No Tomb Raider.
No Gran Turismo.
No Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.
No Crash Bandicoot.
No Driver.
No Silent Hill.
No PaRappa the Rapper.
No Ape Escape.
No thanks.

Sadly cancelled for the same reasons, just too many iconic games missing due to licensing, a shame really. It's got a lot of potential.
