Playstation Plus

Not really a farce, its done by design, it makes you footfall the PSN Store regularly so theres far more chance you buying something outside of PS+ items. No doubt publisher payments are worked out by 'purchases'/downloads too...

Think weve pretty much past the golden age of PS+, now its mandatory for online and with PS4 catalogue it will take years to get the kinda games we have got used to over the last 2 years...

Going by that PS3 list it'll take about 2 years to get going. The people complaining already are going to be complaining for an awfully long time yet.

1. as said, it gets you on the PS store and might see something else you want
2. Sony probably pay some amount per download (or thousands, or tens of thousands or whatever) so if not everyone purchases it, then it'll save them money
3. I wouldn't be surprised if they used the data of what is popular and what isn't popular to influence what games may come out in future.

As fun as Octodad is for a bit (I've completed it on PC), it can get very frustrating with the wacky physics, and also it is incredibly short. I'd imagine that when it is released for PS4 there will be people in here/PS4 thread complaining about it :D
 
29,99$ US price in december for US PS+
30 quid or so for UK PS+

what else people want? it's a price for 1 game.

Puppeteer, almost bought it :)

I bought this game on Vita release day and put quite a few hours into it. As good as it is, I had more fun playing the PSP games. I finished both of those. Having played all 3 quite a lot, I'm convinced that there's only a certain amount of skill to the Vita version, the rest is down to luck. No matter how much I practiced, I hit a wall and never got any better. Whereas on the PSP versions, eventually I would get really good scores on all the courses.

It would have been an ideal game for a platinum trophy but the star challenges would take forever. Things like win a 18 hole course without going off the fairway. Infuriating and there's loads of them.

Oh and one last thing, hit the ball at a bad angle and it will FIND a bunker to put your ball in however unlikely a shot it might be.

Still quite liked it though.
