Playstation Plus

Ah, what a load of balls

They took away a ps3 title a month, reduced the updates from 13 a year to 12 and now removing the 5 annual games and replacing it with one ps4 game?

So we get 48 games a year now when we would have had well over 60 games before

makes sense to reduce the number on PS3 tbh they are are pushing PS4 now as a platform they don't want people playing on PS3's but PS4's.

hopefully soon it's 3 PS4 games and only 1 PS3 tbh.

plus 6 x 12 = 72 games a year

Still 72 games a year (if you own all the platforms). Crazy value for PS+.

People joining will be the ones getting a little bit screwed over, as they can't stock up on the year long games, but after a few months it should even out.

Doh! I was getting confused with the previous game promise and revision :o

3 ps4 won't be viable for quite a while though...in the mean time I guess we'll have more filler

I guess the model they had created wasn't quite sustainable, like you say though, will be quite interesting to see how much longer they'll use PS3 games

Pixel Junk Shooters were both fun. Would have loved Pixel Junk Eden to be included though - probably my fave PS3 indie game.

Got Trine 2 on PS3 for free (I think...) but never played it so fancy giving it a run through on PS4. Only really playing Indie games for the next couple of months with no big titles I'm that interested in. So for that, June PS+ is good for me on PS4 at least

ok I'm confused in the new statement about games being removed

is that removed as in

(1) remove the option to "buy" for free (by buy I mean rent while you are a PS+ member)
(2) remove the option to download
(3) remove game period ?

I always assumed any games I "bought" I could download on any PS machine at any time in the future as long as I have an active PS+ sub ?

happy with Trine2..loved the 1st one on my pc

still loving Dead Nation..so these smaller style games are still very playable

Its just the 12 month games that have been removed in favour of more per month.

the guy is clearly a troll, who in the hell keeps their console in the box when they aren't using it? mine stays in the av unit and hasn't moved from their since launch day.

PS+ like you say is only £30 a year if you buy smart. you get a number of free games every month as well as online play, etc.

Well, I can do whatever I like; And I had moving around to do at the start of the year so I boxed everything up temporarily. And I have left the PS4 because I have been playing The Last Of Us - PS3, and A lot of PC games.
Anyway, don't need to justify anything I do.

Touche though, I didn't realize how much Dragon's crown was.
I understand that if you are interested in all the goodies PS+ has to offer than it's stupid not to sub.

Just saying for me however, haven't been interested in a lot of them, and the titles I have been interested in i've just bought, which I can keep, which i'd prefer.

I just added the ps4 and Vita games through the PSN Store on my PC. Some of them were still showing full price, but once added to basket they show as free.
