Playstation Plus

I am going to give Fez a go. I wasn't really interested in Pixeljunk Shooter or Contrast but played both and completed both games. They were quality and games that I wouldn't really have ever played unless I got them on PS+.

I found some of my fave games by taking chances during the PS3 era.

PixelJunk Eden - a game where you jump a little creature around collecting seeds to open flowers so you can get around the level. Sounds as boring as it gets yet it's still my fave Indie game ever released.

I'd love if they brought and upgraded version to PS4.

Some of them really haven't been my cup of tea (stick it to the man, don't starve, mercenary kings, doki doki) but some of them end up being really good.

It kind of gives me an idea of which 'other' Indie games to buy so I like that aspect of it.

Yeah I agree, a lot of the games on PS+, well most of the PS4 titles have been indie and some are great fun and as you say the others are not really to every ones liking but its going to happen for a while so I am fine with that as the quality of the games for PS3 and Vita have been great on the whole. The odd time there are games that are not for me but I expect that. In recent months I have played some utterly great titles that I wouldn't have played if it wasn't for PS+ FC3, Tomb Raider and Lone Survivor being 3 from recent months.

Bought rogue legacy for 7.99 with a PS plus subscription. Really good game, couldn't put it down last night! Bloody hard to begin with but gets easier once you start unlocking more of your castle and more extras. Also finding blueprints for new weapons and new runes for more magic powers. One of the best indie games on the store so far, along side steamworld dig (which was a little too short for my liking)

i did this too, excellent game so far, just got to level 50 but its still hard as nails and still laughing at some of the traits.

I think it will be a full year until we start to see bigger ps4 titles free on ps+

Hopefully there will be a good mix of indie games as well along with the mainstream titles.

And me, bought it on steam last year but really wanted it for Vita...been hooked on PS4 version since with Last of us hardly played, got to Lvl 80 something now with only two bosses defeated, put a point into every upgrade though!

Also enjoying Rogue Legacy but some runs I struggle to get any gold to do anything which is frustrating.

Have you unlocked the spelunker yet? And how many bosses have you beat?

Not beaten any bosses or unlocked the spelunker yet but slowly working my way up the levels.

Ah right, best tips I can think of are:

try and stay within the castle, venture into the forest if you run out of gold opportunities inside.
Enemies reset positions in the room if you leave the room but don't re spawn, consider jumping in and out if you're getting swarmed

The enemies level up with you unless you equip a rune that slows how quickly they scale, so that might be worth buying if you get a chance.

Could say more but it'd spoil the game really, I'm up to level 145 and have opened the door near the start, just trying to complete the remixes before I head to the boss

Started playing fez today to tide me over until Diablo 3, this is yet another amazing indie game I would not have played if not for PS+.

Also yet another indie game with an amazing soundtrack.

Tried NFS Most Wanted yesterday. I loved the original MW on the PC but this one is all wrong, it feels more like Burnout (which isn't entirely surprising, considering the developer). The vehicle handling is infuriating to the point that you pretty much can't corner without drifting. The police AI is so bad that it makes the cops in Watch Dogs look like the pinnacle of Artificial Intelligence development; they just smash into you, each other, walls, traffic etc and even armoured SWAT vans are inexplicably able to outpace you.

I'll give it another go and see if maybe other cars are better at actually going round corners, but I'm not too hopeful. Annoying too, I really wanted a good racing game to get into as it's been ages.

Quite enjoying Strider, like the fast paced action and all the cool moves, pretty cool graphics and characters as well.

Do you find it difficult? I might just suck at button masher games now, but after the first boss, when two of them appear, argh so much rage.

So far the first boss is the only boss I have died at, think it was just a combination of being new to the game and strider not having any power ups, the rest have been a breeze.
