Playstation Plus

Yeah I just got the Plat on this yesterday after starting it a couple of days ago. Really enjoyed it.

On Hard mode the game starts out challenging but as you progress it gets easier IMO. By the time I was half way through nothing was even touching me.

The only thing I didn't like about the game was travelling around the areas at the end - took an hour or so to really work out how to get to each area because some were blocked off from certain directions.

Once I collected everything and completed Hard, the 4 hour speedrun on Normal was easy. Only took 2h 45m and that included collecting 70% of the upgrades.

Finished Guacamelee yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it.

17 hours for my first playthrough on a game that only cost £3 for the PS4 upgrade is phenomenal value. :)

Gonna finish it on hard now for the platinum.

Bit late to the party, but decided to play Trine 2 (PS4) that I got courtesy of PS+ a while back the other night. My god, what a beautiful game. Then I saw it had a 3D mode, easily the best 3D experience I've had, be it game or film. It looks incredible

I thought that, I even tweeted yesterday the same thing you have just said.

Oh and just when you think it couldn't get any more beautiful... ;) keep playing.

Tried out Trine 2 in 3d mode last night, really impressive:cool:.

I'm quite new to 3d, I think it's called pop when images come out of the screen and I can't say I noticed any of that of what I played but the image certainly had amazing depth to it.

Is the 3d on trine 2 just the added depth or are there parts that jump out at you?

Cheers

Thinking of giving PS+ a go, partly because I have a couple of PS3's and cloud syncing would be nice for saves, and partly because I quite like the idea of trying a variety of different games for an average of about £3 a month subscription charge!

What are the views on PS+? Does it work well, is the game selection good, etc? Do they ever give games free permanently, or are they always on the 1 month rotation?

Cheers!

Mine to keep? So if I claim in the month then I can play beyond that month even when the games change? If so that's awesome!

you can play the games forever, you just need to have a ps plus sub ongoing.

I think if you stop the subscription the games stay on your console but you cant play them until you subscribe again to ps plus I think???

I'm a bit astounded at that, I'll definitely be getting it tonight then! Effectively if I "tag" games by downloading them when they're free, even if I immediately delete it because I don't want to play at that time, I have permanent access forever for as long as I subscribe? Very impressive, never realised it was such good value!

yeah I'm pretty sure you can re download it if you delete the game, cant say I have ever done that though, I usually keep them on the drive or delete them when I have finished with the game.

Yes, that is correct.

You can also 'purchase' PS4 and vita games on the online store which will be there for you to download if you ever end up buying one of those machines. I had 9 games waiting for me when I eventually bought my PS4.
