With drive club not being that good :( has now got me also thinking of buying an xbox one for Forza Horizon 2.....

I didn't really want to buy an xbox one yet as I ran out of spare HDMI inputs on my AV amp :mad:
(Guess it telling me it time to spend out more cash on upgrading my AV amp to one that has more HDMI inputs)

Of course it's up to sony as they have promoted that it would be available as part of PS+ this month and they have not been able to deliver. I also don't know how you can say they are doing a good job of keeping us informed either as, as far as I am aware, they have not given any indication on if/when it will even become available.
 
They've been posting frequent updates on Facebook and Twitter. As I said, Evolution are the ones who need to fix it and while I'm sure Sony are helping, it's Evolution's game and servers that are the issue.

I think it's a fair point to delay, if they are having server issues it would be unfair to release more free users into the mess. I think those that have paid for it shouldn't have to suffer more with increased traffic (no pun intended ;))

By the way I haven't bought the game, happy to wait for free version.
 
I am not saying that it's fine to pull it if there are issues. It's just the way it's been pulled on the day it's supposed to be released. I have been looking forward to it as I am not good at racing games and just want to have a blast with friends. The dev time I this game has been huge and a problem such as this shouldn't have happened so late inthe day.
 
I pre-ordered Drive Club as I love driving games and for the price when you factor in buying PSN credit through CDkeys, it was a no brainer.

I am really liking the game. Not perfect by any means but the challenges (tours) keep making em want to play it. I have not managed to get online all weekend other than for approx 5 minutes during which time I managed to create a club so haven't had a chance to try out online play.

I think Sony/Evolution are ding the right thing by delaying the free version as I am already peed off I cannot get online or download my pre-order DLC.

Also, no point in releasing the free version if people will get put off by the online not working.
 
I honestly don't get the appeal of the Isaac games, maybe I'm missing something but it's just a short, randomly generated shooter where you often die due to RNG mechanics?
