Consumerism at it's finest.

They saw the buckets of money Microsoft made from it on the 360 and wanted a slice, and given their dominant position on the console market their revenue giveaway doesn't have to be huge.

Fairly simple stuff from a business point of view.

Agreed, sadly I along with a few others were hoping the PS+ games monthly lineup would improve, as around 90% or more of my justification in the subscription is the free monthly games.

However as they don't seem to be catering for my tastes on a fairly regular basis, it is time for me to move that yearly cost to another area of my hobby.

If i did actually game online more regular on my PS4 then yes I'd have a better justification for PS+ (same goes for xbox live ) but as it stands, both xbox live and PS+ for me represents poor value.

But it is as you say, Sony have seen how well this model worked for MS and quite rightfully so in a business sense moved to the requirement of a subscription to play online.

Sadly, for some this model doesn't fit well if you don't like the games they throw in each month..

Still on single player myself, did a quick google and i cant believe that not even in head 2 head you see the other guys shots, only where their ball is on the overhead map.

I can understand not seeing other pairings shots around the course but the fact that you cannot see your playing partners shots is a bit naff.

Got a few friends asking about this game asking what the MP is like. I guess i can warn them off it now.

Did find this video, not as bad as i thought however. If you find a game and nobody quits i guess tho :D

I used to play a fair bit of Everybody's Golf on the PS3 (still have it) and I always used to choose the game mode where you watched everyone in turn take their shot even though it took 4 times longer

This Ultratron game is fantastic. I think it's by the same people who made Titans Attack which was also great on PS+.
