It's an actual player. Happened to me, thought it was a new cool feature of the game until I read the guide :p

I had no idea, I thought it was just AI, pretty cool that its just random players as well.

No, depending on whether you (or they) stick together, you'll see the one name at the end or you could have multiple names. I always run off and leave my companions behind. :D

Ok well, Ive not completed yet and had to come off, so I guess I will get a list of names at end, just hope they are in some kind of order.

Jouney was great. Ended up playing with 5 different people at different points. All of them were helpful. First play through so I didn't realise what would happen if I did certain things which was a bummer but lovely game.

I did it a couple of times on purpose without realising what it was doing to me until I suddenly realised. Was not happy. Especially as the people I was playing with had super long scarfs.

Has anyone tried LotF yet? I'm experiencing the dialog sound just stop mid sentence? So far it's happened on the very first guy you talk to.
 
Ok Journey is super good. But I wish I could message some of my companions!:(

I got the players met at end game, but did not jot any names down. Now I cant work out if or how I can see who I met again. Players met shows no sign of journey and chapter select, well I can't seem to work that out.

No, the bit in the end credits is the only time you'll see who you played with. They don't appear in the recently met list.

Chapter select just plonks you at the beginning of the chapter so you can replay any bits to get missing glyphs or murals - I can't remember whether it alters the scarf length accordingly or whether you just get a basic short one.

Ah that's a shame, should have took a screenie!.

chapter select is not working for me, or at least Im not doing it correct. when I choose chapter select I just get plonked at another stage in the early chapters.
I cant seem to select much later chapters.?

That's the map room so to speak. You have to go to one of the different alcoves surrounding you and step into the white light. That transports you to the chapter then.
 
Well i managed about 5 mins of Journey, what a pile of steaming....
Got to a largish area and released a lot of flags or what ever they are that fly around you, then turned on some light posts. At that point i got bored.

It's not for everyone.

I found it pretty mesmerising to be honest. Comfort food when I wasn't well :D

I find it strangely fascinating yet at the same time it is quite bizarre. Bizarre how it feels like visualising one of those strange dreams the human mind can experience.
