Wait... is that the remaster of Resident Evil? If so then dayum... too bad I've only got enough time for one game at a time lol. Ratchet and Clank is much fun, but I'll dedicate next weekend to Journey, since I hear it's short and all.

I already bought resi and yes it's great. Pretty scary and quite hard. Great game for those who don't have it. is that the Transformers by Platinum? I'll give it a try.

I think Transformers has a plat.

Resident Evil is quite easy once you get used to the mechanics etc.

I finally got around to playing Journey yesterday and boy... it was quite a Journey. A short experience, but I felt the length was appropriate. I got lucky and had the same person play with me the entire game, I sent a message thanking them for playing afterwards and they added me as a friend. For whatever reason, I felt like having someone with you made the game a lot more meaningful, especially at the end. It was a great experience and cheered me up after something else left me feeling grumpy yesterday (something I like has fallen to greedy BS).

I look forward to playing Resident Evil soon, I've never played any of the series. The spectacle fighting genre doesn't interest me personally as far as Transformers goes. But I have seen Metal Gear Rising being played and that was pretty cool. I know Platinum are great developers of that genre.

Trying my best to play resident evil, i really am. I never played resident evil 1 in my youth, i think i played a demo, But loved resident evil 2. For some reason i just cant get into it, i have tried a few times to pick it up but each time i end up turning it back off within 20minutes. It just feels "boring" no idea why, maybe its the fact its just so old, and i have no nostalgia from playing it years ago.. Hoping i get on better with the remake of resident evil 2

Same here, I played it when it first came out and it was excellent!

But after downloading it yesterday I just cant get into it now. Like you say I think its just because it's so old and we are used to playing with much better gaming mechanics now.

I bought it a few months ago for pc as i'd never played it and have played 4 onwards. Its definitely different to everything else now but all the tooing and froing got old real quick.

I tried Resident Evil the other day, and considering I've never played a Resident Evil game before... I had no clue what was going on with the mechanics. Slashing at Zombies doesn't seem to kill them, it takes a ton of bullets to down one, but recovery daggers one-shot them? I also don't see the point in the aim control... how can one aim with those camera angles? The puzzles are also boggling. A room with a pictured window in the back and a movable statue... nothing happens if I move the statue to the window. Another room has an item in a statue and there doesn't seem to be any way to get it. The one emblem I picked up in the first room doesn't seem to do anything...

I thought games like the original 2D Mario games were hard... but this just seems like it needs a tutorial to explain the complex mechanics, especially to newcomers. Maybe there is and I didn't get it due to choosing the middle difficulty option?
