The US Blog announced yesterday that MLB12 (out on Tuesday over there) will have a discount for anyone buying both the Vita and PS3 versions at retailers.
The RRPs for the games are $60 and $40 respectively, if you buy both you'd get $20 off at the checkout. No word yet on if there will be a similar deal for digital buyers but I'd be amazed if they didn't at least match it. There was also no mention of what happens if the retailer is discounting the games from the RRP but we'll know that soon too.
I know nobody here is probably even interested in MLB but it's more a sign of the direction they might go with other games.
For reference, MLB12 is the first retail game to offer cross platform saves. You can play at home on the PS3, upload your save to the cloud (free, don't need PS+) and then download it on the Vita to carry on your season on the train or in bed or just while the wife is watching Strictly.
More than 2? No, I've not seen anyone who put GA at the top of thier Uncharted chart. I've seen plenty that like it more than 1 and 3 though.
It's less about enormous set pieces and more smaller scenes and exploration, though there is plenty of gunplay.
I personally think that is way to expensive. £60~ to own the same game albeit on two different consoles but still. If you own the PS3 version you should get the vita version for much less than half price.
Hmmm, be good to see how they work this out. Though I do like the whole pick up the same game and carry on business. Will be interesting to see if other manufactures are just going to port games over or create vita versions.
