Mortal Kombat on the Vita looks to be a massive fail, they have heavily nerfed the graphics.

were these taken with the screenshot feature on the vita? i did this on some games and it makes them look more jaggy around the edges than during actual play! may just be me! either way yea how can u expect the vita one to be close to the xbox?

either way yea how can u expect the vita one to be close to the xbox?

Because other devs manage to get Vita games looking close to the xbox/ps3 versions of the same game?

If not I'll buy online, I was actually contemplating a new iPad but considering my taste in games I think I'd be much better suited with a Vita. Plus I find touch screen gaming a pain in the ass for anything more involving than swiping or tapping. Take Max Payne for instance, I find it virtually unplayable on the family iPad, the controls are horrific.

Try HMV with O2 priority moments. If you are lucky, they will give you £10 back for every £30 in a form of a voucher. They are not meant to, but some of them will do it.

I got a Wifi Vita, Unchartered, Virtua Tennis, 16gb card for £229 effectively through that way. I don't need 3G as I have a Mifi.

MK looks fine in motion though it could probably have looked better. Once again the screenshot function is not doing the game any favours at all. Most reviews are between 8 and 9 so it can't be that bad.

Also Atlus just emailed a bunch of folk telling them that Persona 4 will be out in the US in the Autumn so for anyone interested it definitely is getting a western release.

On the subject of the game drought, now that PS Suite is finally in Open Beta I've already seen a few nice little projects people have been playing with. Hopefully once it goes live properly we'll get a lot of nice small games and apps as options as well. One dev ported his Android game in 6 hours.

Some of the Android games would be great on the Vita. Hopefully they can easily implement the physical controls as they hold back a lot of the Android/iOS games currently.
