I try and fly up and then get a better look at the scene if I'm a bit lost.

I'd suggest that the first upgrades you do are for the gravity gauge and speed.

I'm also not attempting any of the challenges until I've leveled up some more.

Also Yoshida said we are getting the Youtube app today after the US got it yesterday.
 
Trails in the Sky, Persona 2 and Persona 3 Portable all in the sale today, might have to pick them up seeing how highly everyone seems to rate them!

I've been waiting for Trails in the Sky to go on sale! Assuming these deals last as long as the Vita ones?

I've fully completed the game now. I found the easiest way to level up skills was getting gold in the challenges. Most of them will only take a few attempts to get gold provided you're smart with how you skill up. I think I only left 1 challenge at silver when I first unlocked it(the first free mode race) everything else I retried until I got gold.

For the sliding challenges you may find it easier to come out of the slide, turn while running and go back into a slide if the corner is sharp.

Yup.

MGS3 can be platinumed in one good playthrough if you are so inclined, MGS2 will take at least 5!

The EU blog posted the prices of this weeks bits. MGS collection is 19.99 to buy digitally.

It's such a pain that they still haven't got around to adding the PS1 games to the store for the Vita, I would have loved to be able to complete MGS1 and then move on to 2 and 3.

Man there are a few nifty deals on the sale at the moment. Not sure if I should buy some of the prince of persia games.

Not sure how they are on the psp though. Might go have a look. That said with P2, P3P and Trails that is a lot of game time right there lol
 
Just as a heads up anyone looking to do transfarring on mgs between NTSC and PAL versions of the game I don't think it works. Kinda works out well for me I enjoy warning the trophies as I go along.

Also I'm sure they've removed the snake eater opening video not quite sure why other than space maybe.

I noticed that, thought i just had to wait for the PS3 game to update to accept transfarring. Oh well, it doesn't matter as i barely play it on PS3, will prob sell too.
