I swear to god I hope there is. Its starting to annoy me now that the Vita has pretty much had no love at all from Sony since the release. Which is a shame because personally I think it is one of the best handheld consoles I have owned (in terms of build quality and graphics capability).

But they need to get more games released on it though. I look at games in the pipeline for the Vita at the moment and there is maybe 2/3 games I'm looking forward to. I understand new "consoles" require a bit of build up time to get things rolling. But the Vita is stagnating very rapidly. It was released on the 22nd of Feb !!! That's almost half a year ago ! :eek: and still we have no PS1 support (as of yet) The Vita currently 44 games including PSN only releases like Escape Plan etc and obviously not including PSP titles.

Which is another thing why are there still some great titles that were on the PSP (FF7 Crisis Core, Kingdom Hearts and there are prob a few more) that are still not on the PSN. I know its up to the publisher if titles go on the PSN but Sony should damm well be chasing them up to get these great titles on the PSN to play on the PSVita.

If they don't announce a date for PS1 support at today's Gamescom then I really have lost all faith in Sony, I mean it was announced before the console even launched, what are Sony actually doing?
 
I'm holding out for something at Gamescon too.

My Vita is gathering dust at the moment with the 3DS getting far more use.
If there isn't anything major coming out of Gamescon then I'll probably be looking to sell my Vita.

It's not their first PS1 emulator, the PSP can do it, phones can do it, PS3 can do it, it shouldn't be taking them this long to get the PS1 games up and running on the Vita.

I don't personally have high hopes for Gamescom after the fail that was E3.

awesome....cant wait for 28th! can reinstall all the psone games i bought when i had psp!

have all-stars pre ordered for 22 quid delivered :)
 
Thought COD looked ok, I think the vita needs it to be honest. Think how many kids will want this for Xmas, more hardware sales should = better games.

I am so happy that PSone support will be available as of the 28th, I've just brought MGS off the store for £3.99.
