***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

I'd only want to try out Resistance: Burning Skies on the console. I have played Resistance: Retribution on PSP, and I have played Both Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 on the PS3 (When I had a PS3 - this was before I traded for a 360). So yeah. I haven't actually done any research into games that will be announced for the console, but I've seen main games such as the above game on Websites and I have been told by people. Unfortunately I haven't got the fundings to afford one of these even though I could try one at most. May pay a visit to my local retailer.
 
I must say I'm somewhat underwhelmed by the graphics of Black Ops, they look terrible. I wouldn't go as far as to say that it looks like a PSP game but it does look wildly inconsistent. There are some textures which look really nice and then there are others which are horrific, especially the muzzle flash of your enemies. 4 v 4 could work on smaller maps and I imagine the game would be a blast if they put Spec Ops missions in, but if it looks and runs like crap I won't bother. Here's hoping we get a demo before it's released.
 
Do you have Mutant Blobs? If you like that game then you'll really like Sound Shapes, the music is really good and there's tons of stages you can download that other users have created, plus you can make your own, even at £10 I'd say you'd get your moneys worth.
 
Sony are working on reducing the price of Vita for next year, knowing how Sony usually reduce prices I can see them downgrading the hardware in some way to do it, perhaps normal LCD screen instead of OLED etc.
 
Anyone else got sound shapes? Picked it up for 7.99 with PS+, bargain considering that also includes the ps3 version, so 2 platinum too!

Really enjoying it atm, one of the best vita games so far.
 
my vita has just died !!!!!!!!! cant seem to get a charge on it to turn it on.

i can get it swapped no problem, but the issue i have is that i need to deactivate it .

correct me if i'm wrong but can i deactivate my ps3 and vita on my pc ,then activate my ps3 again ,swap my faulty vita for a new one then activate the new one .

also due to psn+ will i regain my game saves on new vita
 
Plus doesn't work on the Vita for game saves but they will be on your memory card/game card so you shouldn't lose them.

Have you left it charging for a while? I don't think the Vita will turn on until it has a certain % of charge. Also make sure the charger is plugged in with the PS logo facing forwards otherwise it won't charge.

gone on the website and its very easy to do ,but just wondering that if i put my mem card into a new vita wont it just format it , similar to putting ps3 hd's into another ps3
