***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

OcUK actually have the console (sans games/accessories) cheaper than I can find elsewhere. Especially factoring in my free delivery.

Last check my bills are paid and im clicking buy :D

You can get the non 3G one for ~£50 less, or the same money with a game/s and memory card. Is 3G worth it? I don't think so personally

You are Correct :D

Vita, Tearaway Little Big Planet and a 16GB memory card for £160. Happy with that. Time to check whats on my PS+ sub this month for Vita :D New toys an all that.

Tearaway is a truly charming little game. There's no challenge as such and you'll walk though it far too quickly, but everything is neigh on perfect for a handheld title

I'm playing WRC 3 which I got for about £3 in one of the Store's sales. It's actually quite an enjoyable little rally game if you're not expecting anything more than a to b rallying. A few more cars wouldn't go amiss though. Next stop is AC: L (again)

I'm playing NG+ on P4G,as I messed up my first game and got the bad ending! It is much better starting again with you skills carrying over, so I don't have to grind to get my diligence etc up. I have however found one fight so far impossible, so will have to strengthen up quite quickly!

It's only about 11 quid on psn just now too.

As for the vita, am I alone in wishing instead of making a slimmer one, they made one a bit chunkier with l2 and r2 buttons? More of a use at home vita than a portable one??

It's really long. I've just got to the Riise part. Not a trophy whore but tempted to try as it's such a long haul and I have no games until end of March.

Can I queue a Vita download ready for tomorrow evening like I can my xbox's games with gold? My PS+ sub can give me Soul Sacrifice free, but looks like it will only be there for another hour!

You can "buy" Soul Sacrifice through the web store using PS+ for free and download it whenever you like. It will remain available on your account for as long as your PS+ subscription is active, all PS+ games you have claimed will appear as "purchased" in the store.

Seen one in a shop with a small dog and record player logo for £20 quid less with 3g and an 8gb card, the specialist Videogame shop and the catalogue driven store were both the same.

I am thinking about getting a Vita to take on my 2 week honeymoon, specifically to play some old PS1 titles (FFVII and FFIX). Has anyone got/played those games, is the Vita pretty good for the old PS1 games?

Yeah it is fine for them, I put a whack of hours into FFVII again as soon as I got my Vita. When you start playing PS1 games if you press and hold the screen you get an option menu where you can do things like changing the zoom level to fill the screen or change the controls.
