***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

I'm now looking for more awesome JRPG's for my Vita. I have Rainbow Moon, P4G and Ys. I also have on pre-order Final Fantasy X HD. I'm not a lover of the Monster Hunter style of games, otherwise I would have picked up Toukiden.

Any ideas guys?

My Wifi/3G Vita is in the post to me at the moment, ready for my holiday in Geneva - I'm so excited!

Also have P4G on the way, and all the games I've saved up from PSN+ for almost a year, minus a couple where I forgot to grab them before the games changed.

Do the free PS+ games change all that much though? Lat time they changed was day before I got my Vita and all that happened is one was removed.
Here a list of free PS+ VITA games I got installed from the last 11 months

The Jak and Daxter Trllogy
Soul Sacrifice
Gravity Rush
Uncharted Golden Abyss
Oddworld: Stranger Wrath HD
Lego The Lord of the rings
GTA Liberty City Stories
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
Reality fighters
Street Fighter X Tekken
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
Lumines :Electronic Symphony
ModNation Racers: Road Trip
Dynasty Warriors
Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend
Guacamelee
Puddle
Stealth Inc: A clone in the dark
touch my katamari
When vikings attack
A-men

I thought Dino Crisis was on the store.

Have you tried the PS3 store, you can transfer it onto your Vita, that's what I done with Resident Evil 2 that wasn't on the Vita store.

Edit: Ignore this post, I have just check the store and it's not on there. I'm sure it has been on there previously.

Pretty sure the Resident Evil and Dino Crisis games are on the US PS Store, might be worth checking there.

I've just joined the world of Vita after loving the PS4.

Can anyone recommend any good RPG's? The only one I've ordered all ready is Persona 4 Golden. Loved Final Fantasy 7/8 and Lost Odyssey so anything all those lines would be a sure winner. The Final Fantasy 10 remaster is pre-ordered also.

I am about an hour into Ys:Memories of Celceta, it seems pretty decent so far. I've got Sorcery Saga is my backlog too, it ticks all of the Japanese quirky RPG boxes but I have only put 10 minutes into it so I have no idea if it is decent or not yet.

General recommendation - finally got the platinum on Danganronpa. It's a really fun game so definitely worth picking up. A cross between Phoenix Wright and VLR with some great characters.

I bought Toukiden for £15 from my mate who had finished it who also works at a game retailer, I'm enjoying it more than the demo, but to be honest, I still wouldn't of payed anything more for it.

Oh actually Danganronpa (thank god you spelled it) was actually almost bought.. just wasn't sure if it was worth the full 30 quid asking price (yet to experience full Vita games and how they compare to traditional AAA console games. Any RPG's with a good story and/or a world map would be right up my street :).

If anyone want to buy something from Yesasia! Not going to use it anyways

There's a couple of places doing the 16gb card for £18.49. Might get one to replace my 8gb. Not much of an upgrade but I have £17.50 credit at one of the places selling it and it's going to be at least twice as useful as 8gb.

With the new mgs coming out I have a string urge to play through the series in order. I have never played anymgs games before!
How much of the series can I play on the vita?
I have the mgs hd vita, that is just mgs 2 & 3 right? Peace Walker vita can also be bought separately I believe.
Can mgs 1 be bought/ played on the vita?

I believe its a case of buy it from the online store and download it to a PS3 then transfer it to the Vita somehow?

Why can't you just buy it and download it on the vita?

I have just checked, i can see it on the store on my vita so presume it is possible to buy and download. I think the sideloading thing was for americans. £8 though for such an old game eek! need to add some more money to my psn account.

All correct. You could play MGS Portable Ops too, but compared to Peace Walker it's nowhere near as good. Though the story is indeed cannon.

It's a shame they never brought Peace Walker to the HD collection, but the PSP version suffices as it's better to control with the second stick. Just gotta get used to less resolution.

Can't wait for MGSV:GZ. Getting it tomorrow, along with a PS4 :)
Well aware I'm getting skanked... BUT W/E :p

Got my 64GB card yesterday and have spent the night/day downloading all the PS+ stuff that i never really downloaded, it's so much better with the 64GB.

Is there any point in keeping my 16GB card or should i sell it?? Is it quite manageable to run with two different memory cards and swap them as needed? So i could keep some games on the 16GB just to have around?
