***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

I have loads of cheap PSN cards I bought when there were special offers on these so am thinking of buying a couple of PSP games for the VITA (not had a PSP for a few years).

I can't find any Street Fighter games on the Store viewed from a PS3, am I looking in the wrong place or were these on UMD only? Also wondering if Gran Turismo PSP is worth a punt for £14.99 ?

Also, if anyone goes in store to collect their machines/games today, could they list prices of games in the respective shops?

I got there at ten past 12 expecting at least some folk to be there but manager said I was the first in asking for anything Vita. Bagged Everybodys Golf and an 8gb Card. Most people have realised its much easier to order off the internet and press F5 all day, than dragging their sorry ass so a supermarket late on a school night.
 
I never understand why people continue to order from Play, they are the most useless online retailer going, over promise and under deliver. (excuse the pun!).

Surely you would know to order from ShopTo by now??
 
Play.com DPD tracking number STILL isn't showing anything on the website, I'll be more than a little annoyed if they lied and it wasn't even sent out yesterday, they specifically said that all orders would make it for release day.

There has been more than one batch of people get a load of fraudulent charges on cards attributed to shopto in the past which puts some off.

My Vita didn't get to Mitcham until 02:40. I'm going bet that I have Uncharted, Lumines and Rayman in my hands at least 2 hours before the Vita lol.

Then cancel it and get on the phone to the likes of Tesco and Asda and HMV to see if they have what you are after.

Hope you sort something out.

I've decided in the excitement and since I can't leave the house to buy food that I shall get Pizza for lunch :D
 
Just got email it is at royal mail and out for delivery today :D

Bought peacewalker, portable ops and ssx on tour to add.

Arrives at the end of lunch in work, going to be sickening not being able to use straight away.

No idea about Street Fighter.

GT PSP is widely accepted as the worst GT party because it is mostly just time trials. It's just not the same.

If buying any PSP games don't forget that a) some still don't work on the Vita yet even if you download and transfer from the PS3 (likely the emulator still needs tweaking) and b) some games are on there in dual packs for less than the same games are up for individually.
 
Just completed all the peace walker missions 60 hours in the other day. Not only is it the biggest MGS games ever made, it's one of the best and it's on a handheld.

Also, gran turismo is ok. It's only against 3 AI drivers when racing though, and what cars you can buy is always pot luck after a race. Supposed to incourage trading.... But meh. The physics are there though.

Good things come to those that wait :D. I have ordered from play and it would be nice to have it today, but not the end of the world. Will go in to game to spend my vouchers on a game and some bits and then grab some breakfast. :)

Everybody enjoy your vita's if you get them to day. :)

Will call them and see what they say.

The email stated it should have shipped yesterday and I should have it today !

I will have another dig around the store to see if I can find the double packs. I wanted a racing game so may get GT PSP or just get the new Ridge Racer game instead.

My local Morrison's say they have my pre-order there, but I guess i can't guarantee it till I go there this afternoon. If it is not there or they messed up pre-order numbers I might end up (grudgingly) going to a high street store :(
