Just an update on Game's 'offers'...
From being told that the bundle deals were going to be announced either yesterday or this morning so that they could offer the most competitive offers, Game failed badly! The bundles in store are the ones already widely reported elsewhere over the last few weeks.
I asked them to price match HMV, but they refused, saying they no longer do this.
Anyway, I had quite a lot on Game cards, and was trading in my 3DS so was still stuck with them. Went for the Wifi with Uncharted and Fifa bundle at £290 (yes, honestly!), then traded in Fifa straight away for a 16GB card, and got Marvel vs Capcom at the reduced price of £25. Also ended up with a tenner on my loyalty card and a 20% off voucher for any Vita game, perhaps to lessen the pain...
Despite reports, they did have 3G consoles, but did not have Ubisoft games. Everything is at full RRP.
So online deals or other shops clearly offer betters bundles, but if you have an unused 3DS, money on Game cards then you may be stuck with these bundles like me. Still, the good thing is no waiting for the postman to arrive!
Am at work now, had a quick look at the Vita which looks lovely! It's now on charge until I get time to play this evening!!!
