I really hope they release more games that the Japanese like soon, it's done extremely poorly for another week there, ideally we want it to do well so we get more dev support.

3DS had another amazing week there though.

Ah that might explain it. To get your positional data on a WiFi connection it has to look at the SkyHook database to see where you are. If your WiFi isn't registered with SkyHook then it doesn't know where you are.

If you use any WiFi access points owned by telecoms providers (BT/Vodafone etc) then they are already on that DB so it'll work if you are out and about using it if you can get a connection.

That's another nice thing about the 3G unit. Even if i never buy any credit, my GPS will still have a look every once in a while to work out where I am. When I then hook up to a WiFi point somewhere it then uploads the days data and syncs it all.

Honestly I've not even played Uncharted, Lumines, Wipeout or Rayman. I played a chunk of Motorstorm and one world on Super Stardust! I've spent too much time playing with bits, transferring video over, looking at bits on here and on other forums etc. Friday I'm at work and my trainee is going to get ignored :p

Wife tried to give Escape Plan a go as I think she'd enjoy that but when it mentioned back touch she couldn't understand what it meant so got stuck. By the time I came back in we were about to watch something else but she said she'l try it again now that I explained.

Looking forward to sinking my teeth in. I try and have one big game on the go and then a small one or three. So recently I've been playing Assassins Creed 2 but when I didn't want to play that I was playing Dead Nation or the odd game of Fifa. The same will be true on the Vita.

Gravity Daze was a start but it's not pushed hardware at all. But at the end of the day the PSP is still so relevant there it kind of makes sense. It's dead everywhere else so it's not competing.

Junior member! Heh the Japanese just have very different tastes to the western world, I mean look at what game got the #1 position?


They just need a game that the Japanese will buy in drones in order to get the console more established there, but yeah PSP still seems to be doing well over there, well relatively.
 
Think mine is class, just playing with the free AR games at the moment. Played some demos of wipeout, unit 13. 33% through uncharted and got my arse kicked a few times on fifa.

So, I received my Vita, got it all sorted and then thought I would get a psp game. How do you transfer them? It is sitting on my xmb and I have plugged the vita in selected ps3>vita and when I get to the location, it doesn't see anything. Any pro tips welcome!

Is it a bubble like when a game has just downloaded?

The only reason the Vita won;t see itf everything is connecting fine is if the game is not currently compatible with the emulator. What game was it?

And I can't decide between lock screens.
