Have you set anamorphic to none? you can't change the resolution until you do that. Also Handbrake my not upscale things. I've never tried! If not the Vita should still play the file fine at whatever resolution you set it at.
There was one a few pages back for a WiFi, 8GB and Fifa for £230 or something. 'll try and find it

ok retried the unit 13 demo past the training, it had me on the edge of my seat! definate must buy now! can really feel that sense of progression too!

The best program I've found for putting videos on the Vita so far is XMedia Recode, you can get it here for free, http://www.videohelp.com/tools/XMedia-Recode
I've used this to put across 1080p *.mp4 videos and it works like a dream, no syncing issues.
Just set it up like so,
With regards to bitrate, if you right click your video file in windows and select 'Properties' and then the 'details' tab it will tell you the bitrate of the file so you can match it in the encoding software.
Like I've said though I've only used this for 1080p mp4's so not sure how it will fair with other formats.

That demo also has co-op I think
The full game has co-op and leader boards like Motorstorm for fastest time to clear the room, points, etc. Still not had a chance to play it!
I'm not sure what's "limited" about it, I work for a supermarket and even we had loads of them delivered. There's plenty of stock out there.

My Vita wouldn't turn on this morning, when i put it on charge the button which is normally blue was just flashing orange. Couldn't find anything in the manuals about it so did some googling and found a little fix where you have to hold the power button down for around 30 seconds for a hard reset, it solved it. Dont know why it happened, only played it twice, maybe it doesn't like neglect.
Also does anyone else's eyes hurt from playing it for over 30 minutes? My eyes were so sore last night! I haven't had it sore eyes ever from playing a console!
Eyes didnt hurt as such but it was around 10-11pm i was super tired and silly me thought lets play some Wipeout 2048 that made my eyes sore cause was too quick and not reccomend to play when sleepy lol
It's amazing how quickly they abandon thread once they realise they've been caught pulling stuff out their ass.

It's hardly difficult for them to get it certified and hack the media player a bit. Well a group of hackers will do it I guess. MUCH to Sony's dismay of course....

ispgeeks.com gave me 1.17Mbps or 150KB/s on a H signal with 2 bars. I'll try another one with better signal later.
If anyone wants to test you cant use speedtest.net as the Vita has no flash.
What a shame.
It's still disappointing that none of the consoles nativley play MKV however I can understand why to a degree.
It'll be interesting to see hat happens. Hotz won't do it as he is under court order so who knows. Sony i think know how important piracy was to the PSPs software sales so will hopefully have made it as secure as the PS3 was (apart from the silly mistake with the random number generator being fixed lol)
