Still got my preorder and am really excited about it.
Like a lot of people I'm a bit concerned that it doesn't get the developer support long term but I'm actually hoping that a viable driver for it is released by someone for the PC. That would be a game changer if it could work across devices.
Just did a Live Chat with PlayStation Direct support, PSVR2 will be delivered via DPD in case anyone wanted to know.
I also asked mods if they'd merge or move the PSVR2 thread in the separate VR section to here, but seems they'd rather have two separate discussions running despite it being console hardware.

Going to cancel my pre-order, just lost all excitement for it given the games available at launch and in the pipeline. It's just going to be exactly like the original PSVR where it ends up with a couple of gems but mostly just trash. Other than RE7, I don't think I used it much
I've already got an Oculus sat in the drawer gathering dust, so this will end up being the same

I know your pain.
I remember being blown away playing RE7 on PSVR, and also the Batman 'game' (if you can even call it that) but it barely got used after that.
I also have an expensive Valve Index VR headset that I haven't used since I moved house 18 months ago.

It depends, if companies stopped making glorified mobile games you'd pay £2.99 for but they make it for VR so now £20 then the VR gaming industry can move on. Most are lazy cash grabs, gimmicks, 4 hours of game play, essentially tech demos.

Fanatec DD Pro with 8nm booster, though i'm thinking about getting a larger wheel for the base. Cost me a pretty penny mind but if you've got the scratch.
There's a lot of controversy because GT7 devs messed up the feedback; was abit broke, worked fined after update, then some kid breaks finger so they rollback it back. Some claim it's 'dull', lacks details etc. Personally i think it's fine, and there are a lot of changes you can make on the equipment firmware setup via USB on your PC/laptop then plug it straight back into PS5.
Had money pulled for my PSVR2 controller charging station at 2am this morning. So looks like the delivery process is underway 
Hopefully I'll get the same notification for the actual PSVR2 soon ... will be frustrating to be sitting at home with a charging station and nothing to use it on !

I got a notification that the payment failed this morning for the charging station, which is odd. Card details are right, address is correct and no notification from bank either so not sure why. Updated it anyway (with the same payment method) and will see if it works, if not it was a sign I don't really need PSVR2 in my life
When I initially placed my order it wouldn't accept my credit card for some reason so went with Paypal. Strange, because my credit card works fine when purchasing digital games from Sony.

Odd, it accepted it when I placed the order, or I'd have used PayPal. I'm not expecting it to work now, so if it does it'll be a nice surprise

I've ordered Resident Evil 8 as its on sale till the end of the day. I remember 7 being terrifying but still compelling to play in VR and I think 8 is going to knock it out the park.
Does anyone mind if I start a new PSVR2 thread with some useful links and info ahead of next week's release (which I'll try and keep updated)? Thought it might be easier for newcomers to find out what's what than a long thread which mostly relates to the old PSVR.
