Please can someone help me on best way to upgrade? :)

After all the advise that we have given you, you still try and cheap out on the PSU, i mean how do you know that unit has not been running on a mining rig for the last 3 years 24/7?? There are ways you can cut costs when it comes to building PC's, but PSU's are not one of them!!
I feel at this stage i would make more progress by banging my head against a wall.

@markymoo I think you should upgrade it, especially if you are thinking of upgrading other components. The Antec unit i posted above is a cracking unit at a reasonable price with a 7 year warranty.

Please remember, manufacturers dont create all of their PSU's equally, if you look at the PSU Tier List i posted above, Antec have units in 6 of the 7 tiers, always aim for tier 1 or 2, tier 3 if your on a tight budget and dont have top of the range parts.

I appreciate all the advise given to me, I really tried to get the best setup I could afford, my father in law is a fully licensed radio amateur and knows a lot about psu, s and has replaced capacitors in loads of them, he is going to test the psu out before I put it in my pc and check the capacitors etc. I also emailed the guy before I bought it and he said it's hardly been used much and was bought end of 2011..

Im not saying I will keep this forever but at least want it to last me a couple of months. Like I say tho I really appreciate everything everyone has said but I just could not afford to buy a brand new psu, so I went with a decent quality 2nd hand one in the mean time

Just seen a deal for £389.99. Would this PSU be good to swap out at the below price? Unsure if to grab this deal or wait for Black Friday deals. seems like a good bundle price.
EVGA a good manufacturer for cards?
EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB SC ACX 3.0 Black GAMING Graphics Card
+
EVGA SuperNOVA G1+ 750 Watt Modular Power Supply/PSU

@markymoo Just found that deal and it's very good. EVGA are one of the best brands and have very good customer service, much better than the awful service of the retailer doing that deal. The card alone normally sells at £442 and the psu at £96 so normally £538 for the pair purchased seperately. The psu is a unknown though. There are no reviews, teardowns or information at all on it. I presume it replaces the G1 which was built by FSP and was a OK unit but not as good as the Superflower/Seasonic units and had quad 12v rails. The G1+ has a single 12v rail of 748.8w and nobody knows who built it. EVGA says it's shorter, quieter, has all Japanese caps and has tighter load regulation on the 12v rail than the old G1 units. They also gave it a 10 year warranty so they must have faith in the units. Overall it sounds like a fantastic deal and I don't think you will find one as good again for some time, if ever. It would be nice to know the OEM of that psu and to see a thorough review including teardown of it though. I would probably take the chance and go for it at that price.

***Edit*** Just found a review over at Hexus of the 650w version of the G1+ and although they don't do a teardown and EVGA hasn't told them who the OEM is they seem to think that it's based on the Superflower Leadex platform. Others though think it's still FSP.

Just found a review of the G1+ 750w over at eTeknix and they gave it a glowing review as well. Still no mention of the OEM though.

From these two reviews it seems to be a very good psu so that bundle is a absolute bargain.

***Edit 2*** Finally found a review from someone I trust and tells it how it is. Jonnyguru did a full review of the G1+ 850w and the OEM is definately FSP. He gave it 9.2/10 and the value score is what cost it points. I can agree with that because at full price it's competing with better units such as the Seasonc Focus Plus Gold series.

While I understand the financial aspect totally, PC components have become ridiculously expensive, myself would perhaps have spent a little less elsewhere and gone for a new good quality PSU. I kinda see a second hand PSU as like buying second hand brake pads and discs for a car.

But that's just me and it'll most likely be perfectly fine for a few months. I would modernise that particular component as soon as you are able to though, it's so crucial for a stable system.
