Pokemon GO! (2016)

Ok I have this on my S5. Never played Pokemon at all. I a currently level 3 (just started) I get the jist of the game so no need for help there. However, the nearby button (bottom right) once pressed shows near pokemons some greyed, I presume these are ones I have not seen before? So I select the greyed out one and it goes back to the main map with that selected pokemon on the bottom tab. Now does this mean the game is looking for that pokemon?

I always forget to check phone when I am out and about. Always remember the game when sat at my desk at home.

It won't specifically try and find that pokemon, it just means you can see right there from the main screen how far away that particular one is, so it just helps you track it a bit easier

Cheers. I have just actually read up on it. The footsteps meant nothing to me, now I know 1 foot is close and 3 is far and I would need to walk towards the rustling grass. Off out soon so I will charge up phone and make sure I keep the game running. I have read that the screen needs to be on to find them is that right?

Until the Pokemon Go Plus bracelet becomes avaliable, yes the screen needs to be on and in the game all the time.

Ignore the rustling grass I would. In my experience 3 footsteps can be as much as a 4 or 5 minute walk.

I can also confirm if you have the sideloaded APK, just head to google play, maually search for the app, hit update (its a newer version), it will then appear in your insatlled apps list on google play.

Still got all my pokemons!

Cool!

Says it the same version for me, 29.2.
