Pokemon GO! (2016)

Works in your pocket, only problem is its a complete battery killer, hopefully they can do something about that in future updates.. they say they are working on it.

Well at least I hope it does, fitness app's seem to use gps ok with screen off and phone in pocket so I don't se why this is any different, and they don't do nearly as much battery damage as this app.
 
You've also got to combine an egg with an incubator that you have in your inventory, then it starts ticking the distance off, as long as the app is running.. ive got a 5km egg in at the moment.
 
I suppose we can't be too harsh as its not officially released in this country yet, but the battery issues and the busy server issues are pretty big, if it relies on a permenant connection (do you lose progress on egg hatching if the servers become unavailable?).

Still I really like the concept.
 
Servers back up.

As mentioned before, like Ingress, if you're moving too fast it stops tracking your movement. This is so users who drive don't have a major advantage over other players.

For those who has placed a pokemon on a gym, be sure to claim your coins in the shop on the top right, you get 100 coins per gym you've placed a pokemon in per day.

This is the official app, it's just being blocked on the Play store for the UK. It will still receive updates from the store when it's properly released,

Had the same issue last night on my 6P, but it's fine this morning. Must've been server issues.
