Turn off A/R and the Pokemon will stay still.
Zubats don't stay still regardless

This is such a missed opportunity. It barely retains any of the gameplay of the 'normal' Pokemon games, has no PvP, and the Gym battles are pretty 1 sided given you can take 6 Pokemon against the single one that is guarding the Gym (unless I'm missing something)?
A Pokemon game that doesn't have turn based combat is like a racing game that has no cars. Why couldn't they allow you to battle against the wild Pokemon before you capture them, like normal?
I'm bored of it already. Back to Ingress for me I think.
Not through gaining XP from battles they don't. You just 'buy' them. I evolved a Rattata through doing nothing more than simply catching and then transferring a bunch of Rattatas. The one I evolved had never battled and was just the one I randomly picked.
The game lacks almost all of the core mechanics of Pokemon, and its not things that will be easy to add later. The trailer says Go Catch, Go Trade, Go Battle and Go Play Together. 3 of those 4 things are missing.
I've actually resorted to playing Emerald on a GBA emulator instead
Put this on my sons phone. He had me walking/driving around streets last night, so he could look for pokemon.
Kept crashing on him though.
Driving past one of the christ churches it said it was a pokemon gym. So does he have to stand near the church to battle people?
Very smart idea but a bit worrying at the same time with the kids and staying alert to the roads and whats around them.
Damn it, I can access a poke point thing from parts of my work. I can see me getting fired because of this before long.
Truth, just started last night but this game is going to take over my life. I just went on a coffee break and found a Chinese church with a lore so chilled outside it for a bit almost missed a meeting.
How long did you stay by the lure, and how many did you catch? I came across one yesterday but only 1 pokemon appeared in 7 or 8 minutes.
This is all over social media. Is it that much of a big deal? Seems like a massive battery drain tbh

Gonna try get others at work to join in so we lock this **** down.
