Police Interceptors!

I'm surprised they didn't seize the van, it's not worth much and it'd prevent him re-offending so easily. I thought they came down fairly hard on people impersonating emergency services, perhaps he was actually a bit of a nutter.

I'm not aware of a specific offence of imitating an ambulance or its driver, unlike the offence of impersonating a police officer. Hence why the vehicle wasn't seized. But if you impersonate a police officer it's pretty serious.

Yeah, the guy was a nut, but there is less you can do by impersonating an paramedic, because they just get called out to places. Whereas a police offer could stop people etc

Still think they should have come down harder on him though!

First up is Dave IN THE EVO!!!

Likes: Chips
Dislikes: Twocers

why is it the narrator sounds like he's fapping furioursly every time he gets to say the word scooby or evo ? lol.

it makes me mad when they put points on licences or ban people from driving when they are ALREADY banned or DONT have a licence..!

Yeah that really gets me too, how does it help! They already broke the law and drove without a licence, adding points and banning them just makes it more likely that they will do it again.

Anyone else loving the fact that they where using a graphic of the HTC Kaiser? lol not the most advanced phone in the world!

The guy in the ambulance was a nut job. I don't know why they didn't confiscate that van. Anyway it was good to see the program back, getting tired of seeing repeats. The Essex mob are the kings of the road IN THE EVO. :D

What happens with the new driver rule when he passes his test...

If you get 6 points within your 2 years of passing, you have to apply for a provisional and take the test again. But he would come out of passing the test with 6 points, do they take his license off him straight away? :D

Basically, yes, which is why its such a mind bogglingly stupid punishment! All it does is encourage the offender to carry on without a licence, tax or insurance

You also hear of the kids who steal cars, even under 16, receiving points on licenses that they don't have...

If he really is a nutter who thinks he's a paramedic, what if he does come across an accident and start "treating" people? What if he's flagged down? What if he kills people?

Cool a new series, must watch as they are always entertaining, think they should have their new force Evo 10's in this series as well :)

The narrator is a right chav. Constantly over-enthusiastically mentioning the top speed of all the cars. Then when they ever get into a pursuit there's the obligatory ''With the 300bhp and top speed of 170mph this evo's packing, the team will be there in NO TIMEEE!!''. :|

Actually no, they would just have a full license with 6 points on. The "totting up" points revocation would only come into force if the driver got any more points within the first 2 years after passing their test. i.e. even 1 more point would get their license revoked. For example it's possible to get 9 points on a provisional, pass your test and then still hold a new full license with 9 points!
