Yeah. Fair point.

Thats a point you could have grasped yesterday if you'd not been so evasive... you were prompted several times to give your take.. to elaborate. That would include having to explain what you think the tent was put up for if he wasn't sleeping in it....

The yacht is a long way from where Boris holidayed. Why would he stay on the yacht, then travel that far to act out a phoney holiday when no one knew where he was going anyway?

Also, if that yacht has appeared in the paper, there’s bound to be a lot of people looking at it and taking photos, yet not one word or photograph to suggest he or family are there.

To appear to be "one of the people" and try to encourage the UK population to holiday in the UK this year, so there are a few pennies of tax making their way to government to dab on the budget black hole wall?

Ah, don't come in here with logical arguments like that Rob!

If you're not carefuly you'll undermine the narrative that everyone is so "gullible" for believing the account that has evidence to support it instead of some hinted at, borderline conspiracy theory, alternative (which we're still waiting for the OP to provide details of) that requires explaining all that away...

Encouraging people to holiday in Britain doesn’t seem that bad an idea tbh. We could do with all the help we can get.

Surely if people wanted to holiday in the UK, they already would be?

Perhaps it would be more prudent to ask "Why would people rather holiday abroad?" instead of trying to "encourage" them to do something they clearly rather choose not to?

I agree with you, why do people do it?
Let's go in a thread I'm not bothered about and say "Who cares?" :)
No, you're boring. People can take part in a discussion without caring much about details of the subject matter. Or, to give an example, people can take part in a discussion about Boris's holiday without caring why or whether he spent any time in his little tent.

You seem confused, robfosters didnt post 'who cares' and then run, he'd been a part of the discussion before he said that, which makes it kind of weird you posting in the thread to call him out. Do you care about the subject matter? Only, you seem to do that a lot - telling people they must care because they posted in a thread.

Because if it actually was a poll, it would be one of the options, one which I would have chosen.

It's not a poll though so why waste your precious time reading a thread about some politician and then waste your time typing?
I just stay out of threads I don't care about.
