Fair enough it is nothing compared to the utter incompetence and arrogance he has shown in running the country, but it is the same blatant disregard he shows in eveything he has done in not only his political life but also the one before. He strikes me as the kind of person that as a baby always waited for his nanny to take his silk nappy off before he poos and pees everywhere.

Why would it upset me? I already know the type of person he is.

I find it sad that people like you think he is hilarious while trashing and showing no regard or respect in everything he does. Maybe it says more about your life and standards than mine.

He would be fine as a slapstick character on some dodgy comedy TV show but a politician and worse the PM? The man is a buffoon.
 
After BoJo / Cummings did their whole ‘prorogue parliament’ thing it wouldn’t surprise me if even something as unimportant and otherwise believable as a camping trip turned out to be publicity stunt.

That was the most dishonourable thing I can ever recall happening in politics and it has really stained my opinion of BoJo.

Supporting Boris? How’s commenting on what has seemingly happened here supporting him?

OP seems to suggest that he’d not go camping, his stance is quite clearly undermined when pics emerged showing Boris in the field, showing the tent etc...
He’s now rather evasive about what he thinks happened.

I’m not sure how any of this is supposed to support Boris, I’m aware that some people on twitter initially seem to have decided he was on a luxury yacht the whole time etc...

This thread is nothing to do with what your views on Boris are, no matter how hard you try and turn it that way with your biased agenda. The thread is about a camping holiday, and you seem to be desperate to use someone going on holiday as a means to have a rant about them. How very sad.

Strangly enough the same as some of you lot are doing about the OP.

Personaly I dont give a toss if he is camping or not. What I do care about is that he is rogering this country.

No he didn’t trespass. As pointed out before Scotland has right to roam legislation, you can go camping if you want. Fires can be legal too but some people consider them bad etiquette.

@Tony Edwards As much as you seem to be claiming people are supporting him (which is a bit of a stretch here as it’s hardly a great story) you seem to be actively trying to spin it to be as bad as possible by adding in things that aren’t true.

Actually, I think that you will find that the legislation says that you can "Roam", specifically that "You can exercise access rights for crossing land and water".

I like how this has turned into a rant against Tony Edwards taking the focus off Garnett's stupid post.

I hate all Politicians equally and never voted in my 62 years of life because none of them can be trusted but surely Garnett you must now realise he has been up North camping or in a house!
And also don't you think he deserves a break after the crapfest that has gone on even during exam results?
He'll have people that can deal with this sort of stuff way better than him, in fact he has people who deal with everything while he just manages it.
