After a bit more time playing this evening, im totally sold on gsync. The smoothness and lack of tearing makes such a difference.

I've yet to try it, although starting to develop a serious itch.

I've mainly been playing non-demanding games from a few years ago so the need for the tech isn't quite there yet. Although I can imagine it's desirable if you are running a modern AAA game.

g-sync and 144hz or go home.

Got me back into my pc / gaming after a few yrs of drought.

Love looking forward to getting home and firing up and gawping at the beautiful smoothness.

Try playing at 60hz with v-sync off, laugh at how on earth you put up with it for so many years and then go back to 144hz g-sync. It's exactly the same as going out with Bella Emberg for a week and then going back to Jessica Alba.

I went from 60Hz to 120Hz and the difference was huge, going from 120Hz - 144Hz GSync even more so.

Playing Battlefield 4 the first night with it, I think I bored the life out of everyone with my constant "OMG this is so smooth" - it was unreal, no judder, no stutter, no tear, everything felt so fluid it was amazing to behold. I am now utterly sold on GSync, just a shame you are card/monitor locked.

Cant wait to try it with bf4. I do agree though that being locked into one gpu camp is a bit of an issue. Traditionally ive always owned nvidia cards. But thats not to say i would never buy an amd card.

its exactly BECAUSE I've owned several AMD cards that I had no qualms about buying Gsync :D
