Poll: want Jake humphrey back in 2011?

Can't believe someone asked the question in the first place, Jake is by far the best F1 presenter I've seen. And he's only going to get better as he increases his rapport with everyone in the paddock. Oh and although I'm no Apple fan I can totally see the functionality of using the ipad over a grand prix weekend.

At the start of the season I wasn't too keen on EJ, but I now like how he asks all the difficult questions that most others wouldn't. There's a good chemistry between the three of them.

As for Legard, get rid asap!
 
I'd replace Legard in a heartbeat.

What annoys me about the current line up more in how neutral Coulthard can be, especially if asked about Red Bull. I know he's on the payroll but it's cringeworthy stuff sometimes.
 
The only one i'd replace is Leggard! My vote for his replacement would be Ben Edwards! Always liked his style of commentary, since i first heard him commentating on cart! Last thing i'd want is james allen back, with his salivating over lewis!

Although he has gone a bit 'commercial'. I don't want to hear what a pussycat doll thinks, or have him speak to the track owner who doesn't even speak english. Let's speak to the drivers and have a cheeky dig at marshals trying to get him off the grid!
 
I don't mind the occasional celebrity, gets a bit of the atmosphere on the grid. We hear loads from the drivers throughout the weekend after all. I like it when he grabs someone like Rob Smedley or another engineer - someone knowledgable we don't often hear from.

Who else could do it though?
Coulthard? - nah, he's hasn't got the charisma
EJ? - No, he'd get punched (although that would be entertaining).
Jake? Possibly, but he hasn't quite got the history with many of the people on the grid that Brundle has.

Who else?
 
Keep Jake, he's ace, but I'd drop Legard. He's dull.

I think Brundle enjoyed the grid walks more in the old days cos there were only the teams there. Look how deserted it is in that clip. Now it's full of 'celebs' and hangers on which makes his job much harder.

but he obviously doesnt want to do the grid walk anymore he has even said he hates it but if you watch all the old videos he obviously enjoyed it and it showed where as now he hates it and it shows.

kill the grid walk or let someone else have a go

Typically boring except for Schumacher's intervention.

Maybe it's not Brundle that's the problem but the boring drivers? Could you imagine Alonso playing pranks minutes before the start of a GP? Christ did I just say Schumacher was less serious than the current crop of drivers? It must be bad.
 
I think Schumacher has been a breath of fresh air this year, in regards to his PR mentality. Certainly no joker though! We'll leave that to Ron "cuts cords" Dennis.

Used to be terrible in the Ferrari days.
